So Much Time Wasted?
As is probably the case with a lot of you here at WA, I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours, days, weeks, and months trying to find and learn ways to make money online. This quest started in 2007 for me.
I spent hours upon hours doing what I thought was research. This process was never ending. There was just way too much information floating around. I had no way to know which information was good and which was a scam. I also didn’t know anyone who was making money online that I could talk to.,
I tried Traffic Exchanges, Free Ads, PPC’s, E-commerce, Banner Exchanges, Affiliate programs that you have to be on autoship every month or you lose your website and commissions. So of course I was losing money big time!
All I wanted to find was one, just one, honest and legit program that teaches all the steps from beginning to end on how to make money online. Is that too much to ask for when you are paying good money for a program? Well apparently, yes it was.
So of course I got discouraged and stopped searching. There was always a tiny glimmer of hope in my heart that I could and would find an honest, complete, and legit program out there in cyberspace.
Lo and behold, I came across Wealthy Affiliate! I am so thankful that I always had that little glimmer of hope. I have never seen a program so complete and so easy to understand each lesson.
With Wealthy Affiliate, you have no excuse not to succeed.
So, was all that time searching wasted? I would like to think not. I did learn about some things even if it was in piecemeal. I would like to think that going through all those programs gave me a little better understanding of how things work behind the scenes.
So onward I go, finally!

Nothing ventured ... nothing gained. You will find that many of us share your frustrations with finding a legitimate internet marketing training platform. WA is so refreshingly different that it takes a while for you to answer the question ... is this for real?
Well it is. I'm sure you are loving it and have growing expectations of what you might accomplish here. I wish you the best on your WA journey.
I have taken several subscription type courses, like WA over the years, and I have bought numerous books and video courses. They will all teach you basically the same thing because the basics are all the same. In my opinion, The major difference with WA (and Big DIfference) is the community forum with the almost instant feedback. I can't imagine not being able to get an almost immediate answer to nay question I might have when it comes to online marketing and development.
Many new beginners just don't realize how detailed this industry is and don't realize that it takes time, talent, and investment to develop a professional career.
Eileen, it's not a waste of time if it took this much time to find out what you were seeking. Now that you have found WA your new life has just begun. You can start helping other people succeed in there life.

I too like so many of us looked at and tried so many things only to find out the only one getting rich was the ones at the top that had set up such a scam. I had (that is until I found WA) decided that maybe living from pay check to pay check was all there was.

I can understand where your coming from many members travel the same road before we landed on WA it is a good honest program that gives you all the resources and support to help you succeed
