So I was just checking out my site and I noticed one of my posts is not on my website. On the Dashboard it shows it is there but not on my actual site. What do I need to do to
You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try URL in a different browser or mobile device.
You can also empty servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache

I am trying to do all the required tasks for Lowe's affiliate site. It is through Impact and going through the process it needs me to add something by pasting code to my site.
thank you everyone. I think i was able to get it figured out. Now i just need to get the google analytics figured out. I found some classes to watch to get it all set up. Yall are amazing and help out so much. I really appreciate it and want to keep learning everything i can on this.
i would advise against modifying the themes files due to losing hte updates when the theme is modified for security updates...
so add it via a plugin like ad inserter or code snippets...

I'm not sure how convenient it is for you, you can insert that code through the theme editor.
If you are not sure then use a plugin.

I used a plugin called "Head and Footer Code".
Go to your WP Admin from Wealthy Affiliate home and log in.
Scroll down (left-side) find "Plugins", Add New. On the right side of page, input on "Search plugins", header footer. Results will show available "header footer" scripts. Find "Head and Footer Code". Click "Install Now", then "Activate".
Go back to Admin page and click "Plugins", or "Installed Plugins".
On the Plugins list, find "Head and Footer Code". Click "Settings". Across "Head Code", paste your copied code from Lowes' affiliate site.
After pasting code, scroll down, then click "Save Changes".
I do not know how Impact verifies it's affiliate's code but if it is simply copy/paste, you might receive confirmation from Impact of code verification.

have you added google analytics code to your site...and did you use code snippets or ad inserter plugin...
if so add the code the same way...
if not the watch this training and take the information from wher you add the google code to your site in ad inserter Adding a new property to your google analytics account let me know how you get on...
no i haven't done that yet. i will do that and watch that training. I am trying to watch as much as possible on this stuff and learn everything I can before adding links and everything. I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly.
ok...so after adding the code then also go into the plugins>>add new and add independant analytics( install and activate)...this will show any traffic looking at your site...
it is worth getting google analytics setup as soon as possible to get as much data as possible...
what does the plugin look like for the google analytics? I want to get that added and start using that plus i tried to look for the independent analytics one and didn't see anything.
jsut looked for the independent analytics and it is still there
and ad inserter is there...for adding google analytics...and controlling ad block and adding other blocks of information...

Have problems getting verified for an affiliate site?

Yay, wonderful. Super congrats.
So you know, it means that Google found your site, and now is an excellent time to start adding content if you have not already.
However, your posts get indexed, and often days later, down the line, start getting noticed, provided targeted keywords are searchable, and new websites can rank efficiently.
But typically, "authority" for a website starts to get established over time, usually at the 3-6 month mark.
They fluctuate up and down the scale till Google decides where to place them.
Not all posts will get ranked; thus, the recommendation is to keep updating blogs 2 - 3 posts weekly, which is for the foreseeable future.
And just for some clarification.

Thank you very much for the help. Ya noticed that almost every one of my posts have been indexed from Google. Just wanted to get a clearer picture on it all. Still trying to get everything figured out.
I know... it is tough at times... me too - I just try to figure something out every day... like learning a language... bit by bit.... never give up and ask me any time. Good luck!
I will definitely do that. I am trying to finish up two posts right now. Trying to keep them up with the training and when it asks for a post, I write one and publish it. Then I will go on to the next training session. I just joined ClickBank and Commission Junkie. So, I know there is a lot of training to get that stuff figured out.

You have Kraken already installed on your wordpress by default - you can try smush too.

If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.
I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so that it does not get indexed as well.

As far as I am aware, that isn't possible.
I agree with @DianeScorpio. Any changes made using Site Content after publishing won't reflect. I added an image using Site Content later but it did not reflect on the actual website. I then used WordPress to add the image and it worked.
As far as I know, the only place is to edit on WordPress.
You should be knowledgeable on Wordpress as far as editing goes. Its a good skill to learn. Once you have lots of content, THAT will be the place to edit everything.
Think of Site Content as a "rough draft". You'll always edit and modify after the fact for your final copy in Wordpress.
Hope this makes sence and if I am wrong, I'll be notified :)

The images I have added to my wordpress blog through site content have transferred through, Wordpress also has a draft set up.
