The eBook Starts With The Idea!
Before you can write your eBook, you have to have an idea of what to write about.
Many of you may already have ideas and even have those ideas organized into a plan. This is fantastic if you do. This blog will then just be a review for you. If not, then join me to begin the journey of creating your very own eBook!
It All Starts With The Idea!
I first want to teach you a valuable method on how to get original ideas for an eBook. This method will help you to get those great ideas flowing from your mind to your paper.
First, let’s get the ideas you already have floating around in your brain down on your paper.
Any one of these ideas may well be a million dollar idea! The idea that puts you over the top; the one that changes your life forever!
These ideas of yours are valuable things, so let’s get started.
Nothing….and I mean absolutely nothing…ever truly exists until it’s been put down on paper first.
Think about it!
An airplane, a new car model, a building, a dam, the clothes you’re wearing right now…they all existed on paper before they existed in real life.
I can’t stress this enough! Put those ideas down on paper RIGHT NOW!
Now, just write those ideas floating around in your head.
The ideas don’t have to be in any order or any format. Just write them down as quickly as you can without editing them in any way. Set a timer for 15 minutes. If you need more time then use it. Do not concentrate on anything else but this exercise.
Each idea that you have may only be a word, or it may be a whole paragraph. It doesn’t matter; just get them down on paper.
At this point, you have to make yourself a solemn promise that you’ll hide these ideas away from everyone, even your wife, your best friend, everybody!
It’s important that your subconscious knows that no one will ever see these ideas unless you want them to. if you think someone will be reading your ideas, you’ll naturally edit your thoughts. The main reason is that you don’t want people to make any comments about your ideas until you are ready.
So PROMISE yourself that these ideas are private property and that you’ll put them someplace where they’ll never be found by anyone else.
Don’t skip this step…it’s vital to being able to REALLY tap the energy of your subconscious mind.
You may have heard of this technique before. Some call it brainstorming, others call it mind mapping. Whatever you want to call it; It works!
Take your time with this most important step. Do not take any shortcuts.
If you are doing this exercise then please let me know in the comments area. If you are saving this blog for future use, then this is okay. I will see you all in a day or two.
Dave. There is only one thing left to do!!!

I like your idea about eBook Dave, I want to do this! Waiting for the next step. Thank you very much.
Thank you Dave, I'm saving this series in case I need to refer back to it. You're a huge help!
Hi Dave,
I read e-book sales are declining. I googled E-book vs Paperbacks Sales and the stats are not encouraging for e-books. What's your take on this?
Write it anyway. Whose the source and where did they get their information? Do you actually think we're going back to paperback and hardbacks? Come on man. I got my source and it's not impossible.
From a traditional publishing perspective, this might be true. Promoting an eBook on the internet is not traditional publishing. This business is through the roof. Having an ebook to either give away to build a list or for sale to build your brand is a good option to do. Dave.
Yes Dave, I do known of people using their many old posts from their website and rewriting them into the EBook, and are selling like hot cakes in the marketplace. Perhaps I do that in the future. Regards Sadie.
Great article. Inspiring too because you make it seem simple. Indeed, it doesn't have to be hard.
I've come up with an idea for my "Can I Change My Destiny?" website, which will probably be a free EBook to lure people to sign in with their email and get regulars onto website.
You can follow us along in real time or bookmark this series for later use. Keep in touch. Dave
Hi Dave
This is great, thank you. I already have a list - now I know where I am going with it. Ready for the next instalment. Have a great week.

Great idea Dave of sharing about writing eBook. I just started writing mine also. But not about the business ideas yet, I start in the simple and easy way.
I'm writing kids Book now it's fun to do. It's a great for me to start in this steps first using all the free tools. One day I share it here in WA how to do it in my version. :)
God bless you always...
