As a newbie still in the very early training steps and someone who is virtually broke, lets say I spend another$19 to stay around another month, i get a web site (i do own some

RICh said it all, I believe in starting a list asap. I have an aweber account and recommend one if you want to market your affiliate products 2 - 3 times a week,

I think mailchimp is good enough until you start to get a few hundred subscribers, but as RICH said check their terms, Mailchimp should be fine if you're mailing out blog posts about swimming pool repair

You can get aweber for a $1 month trial.

Once you're ready to start, or get the hang of list building it might be a good idea to trial aweber for your self

Hey David, as others have said there's nothing else to buy from WA apart from Premium. The other "extras" that spring to mind are your own domain names c. $10 a pop over at Namecheap. In regard to autoresponders, If you don't fall foul of their exclusion list, you can start with free services such as MadMimi http://www.madmimi.com However, do check their excluded categories at https://madmimi.com/legal/terms as if you breach their terms they're likely to delete your lists without warning and threaten you with a $250 fine! There's training on setting up and using MadMimi here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/setting-up-a-free-mailing-list-with-madmimi Mailchimp http://www.mailchimp.com also offer a free service but again with similar excluded categories: http://mailchimp.com/legal/acceptable_use/ If not, then premium autoresponder services such as AWeber http://aweber.com start at $19 per month. :) Rich.

Hi David,

I don't think you need to go into auto-responders as yet or anytime soon. The basics are simple..

Registration of domain: $10/year
WA monthly or yearly fees: $47/month or $359/year
That's all you need. If you are serious about learning from WA and can afford a year's worth of fees, it would be cheaper to go yearly (equivalent to $30/month).

Adsense is where you earn money from, not pay. There are tons of Wordpress themes for free, nothing to purchase here too.

I know exactly what you mean... I don't want to pay and pay for stuff anymore. I'm skipping the extras for now until I can pay for them with my earnings online.

Hello David...thanks for asking this question...I was wondering about it too...just plugging along learning at this point. All the feedback in answer is encouraging.

For me the idea of owing my own domain seemd the only way to go. This way I can add whatever I want or need to reach my goals. However, I too am looking to just pay my way at this point and I'm totally out of my element. What I've seen from WA so far is impressive just learning how to use all the resources is the hard part.

WA is great, there aren't any up sells and all the tools are pretty much here, excluding your domain.

well folks, you have helped ease my fears and i thank each of you, Joe, Nenita, kws123 KD6PAO and scott75, thank you!!!. i have a bit of "old business" that i need to clean up, then i will stay around and see how site building goes. I lost my job unexpectedly a year before i can retire, financially speaking, i kinda got caught with my pants down, now I'm looking to the every growing internet. good luck to all. by the way, my name is david, i just realized that I didn't put it in my profile.

As you can see from the comments…it's not much!

If you decided to go premium the $19 is only for the first month after that you will need to pay $49/month or you can do it yearly which is $359.

As a premium member you have unlimited free siterubix site (which you don't own) and unlimited hosting. If you want to own your own domain, you will need to buy it to a registrar like Go Daddy, Namecheap, 1 & 1 and you can have the hosting here at WA. A domain will cost you at least $10.

So far that is the only cost you will be looking if you decided to go premium.

Premium members get unlimited websites with domains and hosting, you are not required to buy anything else.
