Watch Out For The Phone Scammers
So today on the way home from Indian Lake, I received a call from some online marketing company. Well, since I had about a 25 minute drive home, I thought I would go head to head with this individual. She claimed that her company could guarantee within two weeks, I would be making money at the rate of $1000.00 to $5000.00 per month. She said her company had an IT tech,that had been tying to do the affiliate marketing thing and had only made $29.00 in five years. She obviously was trying to divert anyone from doing affiliate marketing in favor of her company who she said was only one of two companies who had direct marketing license from various vendors like Amazon, best buy, Walmart, and various others. WhenI asked her if this IT tech had posted good quality content on his site on a regular basis, she had no answer. When I asked how her company was going to get me more traffic, she had no answer. When I asked what her company would do for me that was different than what I was doing by posting regular quality content, she had no answer, she just kept changing the subject trying to get me to sign up. She never did give me an answer as to how much the sign up was going to cost me. After about a dozen or so questions that I kept asking her she finally said that she was sorry, but that her company couldn't help me. It obviously was a ploy to try and get into my wallet. But because of the training I have had here, and what I have learned from everyones blogs here, she was not able to hood wink me. But everyone that is trying to do online marketing, once they get a hold of your number, expect calls from the scammers. So beware!

I find that I bring it on myself most of the time, coming from somewhere that I clicked. I usually just tell them that I had made a mistake and have no money to invest. No money seems to be the key that makes them run. Yesterday evening, I clicked on some info that I'd read on FB. No word of exaggeration, my phone was ringing within 10 seconds. I again used my no money comment, which is true, but this person had a counter answer. I then reverted to answer number two, saying that I was just actually looking for the delete button to delete them. It must have been a powerful enough comment bc they disconnected before I even had a chance to hang up.
So thanks to our WA training and basic gut intuition, my problems get solved.

This is one of the reason I enjoy the community so much here at Wealthy Affiliate! There's no scams and everyone is looking out for each other. Great post, hopefully nobody gets scammed by those fools.
