I Struggle To Sleep.

Hello everybody in the W.A Community. It's been quite a long time since i have posted on Wealthy Affiliate. Its 1.30 in the morning in Melbourne, Australia, a glass of cask wine in hand. I am coming up to the 5 year mark on W.A. I have a few posts up and running, good traffic, a couple of bought domains, and i wonder, should i give this up, or continue into next year, and stay on the W.A path.

i work for a great company, with awesome work life balance. They have been very good to me, but ultimately, i would like my own business, without worrying about meetings, timesheet apps, and having the responsibility of an expensive ipad.

Sometimes, i wish i never stumbled across W.A, which was by total accident, while looking for a better way to earn a living after losing my job. Recently, i have met some old friends, who are currently looking after their mums, Unfortunately, they have become unable to look after themselves due to Dementia, or are struggling to walk..or see.

This of course got me thinking, . What better targetted audience, than home carers. They can look after their mums or dads, while learning and developing a home business for themselves.I do not know how much time they can spare, while home caring, but i am always open to ideas from our awesome community.

Anyway, it is good to start posting again, and thankyou for listening everyone. Good luck with our businesses, and Merry Christmas.

Looking after elderly parents at the ends of their lives is no easy thing to do Doug, trust me!

Sleep patterns are just one of the things that get disturbed...

Take care my friend and enjoy the upcoming festive season as well! :-)

Hey, Doug.

As you get closer to retirement, you will increasingly appreciate the WA platform. I'm a year and 11 months from retirement, and it comforts me to know that this business is here to keep me connected.

I think your choice of an audience is a good one. Caregivers are busy, but I'm sure they have a lot of downtime as well. Having WA to keep them busy during those downtimes will keep their job from getting stale.

Merry Christmas to you, too.

Dave

Thankyou, Merry Christmas also. I have decided to stick with it, but sometimes, life just gets in thew way.

40% of Canadians experience insomnia as a symptom at any given time. However, approximately 10%, or about 3.5 million Canadians, suffer from diagnostic levels of chronic insomnia.
The wife and I are presently in this chronic group but working to get out of it.
I also have considered getting out of WA , but changed my mind lately because of all the coming upgrades, AI, and the fact I can no longer get a job at age 80. WA does provide great learning opportunities and peer support for seniors who are still learning.
Best of luck to you whatever you choose to do.

Howdy Roger. You certainly know a lot about insomnia, have you considered it as a niche? Ha Ha. On a serious note, W.A i believe is a great platform for the ability to work from home. I just need to regain the love and enjoyment for it. Work and life in general presents barriers we have to push through. Im so tired of a night, The last thing you want to do is write a 1000 word post. I know i will get there. Thanks again Roger.

I love sleep meditations on the app “insight timer” to help me sleep. 💤

I do think there are lots of people who would find it so helpful to be able to stay home and still earn the money they need. Best wishes with your decisions moving forward.

Thankyou, Someone once said to me. If this was easy, everybody would be doing it.
