Using the Bible<
I like the way the Bible verses now pop off the page when you hover over them, great content on your site Dorian
in addition do check devotional.com they have a bible quotation added to their exposition. i dont if it will be a problem if you quoted a source e.g. [n.i.v]. but do check up from other christian sites.like christianitytoday, as well
As some versions the bible are in the public domain (no copyright) you could produce your own online copy of the bible and link to the verses in that. You can download the King James Version from http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/10 Just a thought. ~Marion
Actually, that's not completely true Marion. There are many versions of the bible that hold their own copyrights...be careful here. Even though the Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew bibles ARE all public domain, many such as the NIV and NASB are not. Though many of these versions allow you to quote anywhere from 500-1000 verses, in most cases you wouldn't be allowed to quote as much as a complete chapter.
Thin ice here...

You could try one of these:

http://av1611.com/verseclick/
Man, I went to http://av1611.com/verseclick/ as you told me and this software is awesome. It is already on my site. When I write a reference to a verse, it connects automatically to the Bible reference and you can click to go see it on their site... Awesome stuff...
If you want to see how it works, check it on one of my posts...
I think is very cool and useful for me and it solved my issue

mouse over any Bible reference and you'll see how it works
THANKS!!
I always add an external link to a reference article and an internal link to a page or post on my website. Google loves both. I have heard that StreetArticles is not used anymore, also.
Not really sure what is happening to your rankings, but yes, copy and pasting is considered duplicate material. You'd be better off taking a screenshot and using that.
ps. Thank you for sharing your faith online, way to share the word! All the best my friend.

Interesting website Dorian, left you a thought. I love the Lord and serve him to the best of my abilities although my teachings haven't been diluted by the Roman Catholic Church. Tangatawhenua my ancient people taught me the vibration of resonance with the divine through the power of thought invoked prayer, thoughts become things, everything is energy ; )). Great topic although the thing about duplicate content and rankings is a trial and error thing I have experienced both when ranking . I never put more then one out bound link from any new post or page getting started and that's to an authority site only emphasizing the keyword for the page, until I get it to rank. Once its ranked I hit it with syndwire social blasts.Internal linking is great you may consider siloing your pages and alternate the link juice as you build out. My 2 cents anyway...hope this helped. Sharing is caring.
Namaste.

Man, so frustrating. I wrote an entire article. And I try to bold, link, and just fix the article, and it wont work. I don't understand.
Street articles used to be a great way to send traffic to your site, but now not so much. Both Kyle and Carson recommend blogging on your own site only .
Really?... Ok. So does that mean that the whole thing about street articles is kind of discontinued?
