My Progress So Far
Hey everyone, I've just about finished course 2 and really looking forward to course 3 :-
At the moment it's challenging for me because I have to balance working on my website, working hard in my real Job and also prepare for soon to be arriving baby Girl Evie. I also know that once Evie makes her way into this world, it's going to get tougher.
My partner and I are very excited. My partner has been asking a far bit lately, "how come you've been on the Internet a lot lately"? I've explained to her that I'm working towards making an extra income stream for us via a new website that I am creating. Although she believes in me, she is finding it hard to believe in the whole making money online thing.
I am determined to make this work so I'll keep doing what I need to do.
It's been an awesome journey so far and I've learn't a lot so far. I've hit a few bumps along the way but eventually got over them.
My website that I'm working on is eating4fatloss.com . I am absolutely passionate about this niche and I always look forward to creating new and exciting content.
Although I haven't made any money or achieved any Google rankings as of yet, I am confident they will come as my website gains more authority and as I poke at it more and more.
My goals for the next 3 months- Hopefully I will start raking in Google and start seeing some traffic and also I want to focus on getting through the rest of courses here at WA.
My goals for the next 6 months- Hopefully by then I am making a little money and ranking for more and more keywords.
I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has helped me so far and for all the support. There is no way that I'd still be here 3 weeks later if it wasn't for this awesome WA community :-)
I look forward to the adventure of achieving success, especially for my own soon to be family.

Congrats on the baby. I've got a wife of 40 years, she was curious about all the computer time also. I showed her the website I'm building, and explained the plan on how to make money with it. She got it, first time around, and was actually impressed by my rational explanation.
Maybe after the baby, work with your partner on your niche. Or build her one of her own. Just a thought.
You sound like you have your hands full, especially with a new baby on the way. Remember that you are allowed to take time of because you are right that the goals are more long term. I don't have a lot of patience but i'm having to learn how to here! :) One day at a time and I wish you the very best on the upcoming birth of your little one with your partner. It's one of the best feelings in the world (after labor and delivery of course) :)
