7 weeks of progress
Because this is my third time here I pretty much breezed thru the first 3 courses but when it came to course 4, well...I pretty much went into avoid mode for about 2 weeks. As some of you may know I am not a fan of social media and when I get on there I feel frustrated as it feels to me like I am wasting time. I know that it is an important aspect of business online, I understand it's place and I finally pushed thru it and became familiar with each social site and did what must be done. I would definitely look into having someone do that for me in the future but as one person pointed out it is good to know it before you pass it on and that is what I have done this last week.
I have really enjoyed creating my website Zentangle It and the writing aspect of it was definitely much easier becuse I feel more passionate about the subject. I have 2 other sites waiting for me to start but I was getting ahead of myself and got a bit overwhelmed and so decided to finish all the courses here first before I attempted to begin a new site.
As far as what I have learned, well, I guess everything about setting up a website but also perserverence, it's easy to give up when things get tough but who gains anything good from that. If I want success then I must ACT successful and constanly move towards my goals, pretty simple equation. I have also learned that everything is much easier when you take it one step at a time and WA makes that easier to do. Ask questions when there is confusion and things get sorted out, step back, take a deep breath and say to myself," it will all come together". And it did every single time.
I am proud that I have made it this far and I have a functional website and I have had some very wonderful feedback on it, that makes a person feel really good about what they are trying to accomplish and makes it easier to move forward.
Over the next 3 to 6 months I would love to have more exposure on my site and start earning a bit of income. I also want to begin on a new site and go through the process again. I actually really enjoy building websites as it's a creative venture. On a personal level I am hoping to be in a better place as far as where I live and have a bit more time to spend with my family and friends.
