Are there additional steps that need to be taken to get indexed in Bing and Yahoo or do they work automatically like Google?

Hey I am Lula.
Yeah I think they do everything matters if you were to reach out to organic traffic which is the first step to invite visitors to our sites. I see Abie has shared great links with you. And thank you for helping me out the other day in Live Chat. I really did appreciate it.
Wishing you a terrific day.

Donna, once it is set up, they work automatically like Google analytics and Google console
I hope that helps

Hi AbieAJ

Thank you, Bing is setup. Is it the same process for Yahoo?

I have posts that are indexed in google and just wanted to find out if this means that they are ranked as well?

Good answers below, Donna--I have nothing to add!

Indexed is when Google finds you. When Google think you are serious and like the quality of your posts they will rank them. The higher they rank them, the more chance you have of been seen by people searching for information.

Indexing is the first stage of Google recognition. When you first start a site Google has no idea it is there and neither does any other search engine. So they send out little bots to search the web for new content. That is what all search engines do. So that part is automatic. The actual finding of the website is called indexing
however, at this point, Google doesn't know what to do with it
It doesn't know if this new content is a random one page or the beginning of a new authority site. In other words, it doesn't know what to do with it. So it keeps an eye on it and if you publish consistently it will eventually rank the site which means it gives it a page rank. When it is indexed it is put on page 598,934,234. When it is ranked it is found on page 100,000 and then page 100. Eventually, you hope to get it ranked on the first five pages and then page 1

See my article below which might explain it more

Hi - indexing simply means that your posts have been found by Google and they are now in its search engine.

Ranking is when Google decides which page to show your posts on. This can take several months.

Indexing is when your website is found by Google
Ranking is the position that your articles are placed on the internet either in Bing, Yahoo or Google

What is the difference between indexed and ranked?

I have tried simple copy and paste, clipboard and the snipping tool to try and paste my adsense code and nothing is working. Anything else i can try?

You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.

Hi - take a look at this training. Do be aware that unless you have at least 20 to 30 posts, you are unlikely to be approved. Most people apply too early when they don't have enough content.

add it to a plugin called headers and footers in the head section
or ad inserter(my preference) plugin...
good luck
