Thanks to Loes for coining the phrase "black puppets", lol.
When I share from my page to +google it is coming up looking like this:
When I write a post, I add an image at the top of the post, mid and near the end of the post. So when I post on social media, the picture shows along with the title. I don't worry about a gravatar image. It's about the pictures, the content, and my name.

oh dear, i just went though this but have signed onto up for and formatted so much in the last few days i am not sure what click did what anymore. it seems to me i was requested to create a gravitar before i could comment on a site here, and the gravitar was to be the icon used for all connected sites i use, so google plus, linkedin, gmail and here...one pic that i should be able to change or evolve as my business does. its to be consistent through all of your media connections ... try to review a site and see if the gravitar request come up is my only suggestion i am afraid. i hope it helps :)
Yeah, no. My gravitar is showing up just fine. This is an image below that. On Pinterest it lets you choose one of the images within your post to put there, but on google it does not.
But thanks for trying.
Blessings,
Debby
Hmm, are you signed in as a different user? Like admin instead of author? Not sure, maybe someone knows better than me.
Nope. Signed in as me, listed as owner of website. My pic shows up in the little circle at the top, but then there's that "puppet"! Thanks for taking the time to try though.

When Jay did the webinar on setting up a site he went through this. Here is the link for the first webinar WA LIVE Niche Case Study Series: Week 1 of 4 He covered this topic in week two or three I think. Hope that helps - Maureen

I'm getting a message to check my Akismet configuration and that some of my comments have not been checked for spam and are being held
Hi, have you gone into your askimet setting ( in your main menu when you click on 'plugins" ) you should see Askimet, make sure it is activated and then check the "COMMENTS"
I usually see this " Some comments have not yet been checked for spam by Akismet. They have been temporarily held for moderation and will automatically be rechecked later.
Please check your Akismet configuration and contact your web host if problems persist."
I just manually go through the comments and delete the spam :-)
hope this helps
Yes, but it still says akismet needs to be configured. when I click on the link it takes me to Akisment site and asks me to sign up and pay. Is that correct? (I recently transferred to my domain)
Askimet Anti Spam Plugin for Free - Not $36.00 try this turorial, you do not have to pay the $36
