Leaving Wealthy Affiliate
I did learn a lot here, so it was not a total waste of time. It is just writing is not my thing. I really need to get back to programming and game development. Unfortunately, 10 pesos or 0 pesos per day is not going to cut it while I am in Mexico. I have lived down here since July 2013 and it is getting harder as it gets closer to December. I need big money fast, so I am going back to game development. I am moving my sites to namecheap.com altogether except for kattnergames.com which is still with network solutions.
I already paid for the entire year for namecheap as well as network solutions. I just can not afford the monthly payments of wealth affiliate. It is either quit now or be forced to quit when I have $0 in my bank account in December.
People here do not understand that I have no actual job down here other than kattner games of which I have not received a dime for. I am sorry but I can not watch my wife and kids starve to death. I do have plans to teach in actual school down here but that is the equivalent of acting as a contractor and not an employee.
The system down here is not the same as the United States. So many US citizens complain about Mexicans but they have not actually lived with the people like I have. I understand where the people Mexico are coming from. They are indeed poor and struggling and I am about to join there ranks soon as I have no money for plane tickets and will soon be reaching the point of literally no return.

It seems like you've come a long way. Why not stay as a free starter member? Whichever way, good luck and all the best. :)
It's sad to read your story.
However, don't forget that writing articles and affiliate marketing is not the only way to make money. It seems like you are into programming and game development. Is this your passion? Because if you truly love what you do you could make a lot of money. Your experience and expertise is very valued - you just need to find the people who will pay for this. Think outside the box.
Good luck and best wishes to you and your family.
Alex
The problem is I do not have a college degree. I do have a little college background, but I only take one class per year because that is I can afford. Of course, now I can not afford any classes.
I was considering doing marketing inside a mmorpg like Second Life or something somehow, but I am not really that proficient at that approach.
The truth is - you do not need a college degree to be good at what you do and to charge a good amount :)
So sorry to see you go. You and your family's wellbeing come first. Wishing you the best of luck. Pls keep up with us on G+.
So sorry to see you go. But you need to support your family. Fully understandable. Take care and all the very best.
Sad news but I thoroughly understand. :( Good luck in the game development. I hope thinks work out for you. You and your family will be in my family's prayers.
We will miss having you around :(
I hear you out on the no money issue, but why leave entirely? Perhaps stick around as a starter member. (I'm not sure how you can do that once you've gone premium, but I'm sure a quick PM to Kyle or Carson can help sort that out...) There is so much you can learn here even without the 'premiumcy'...
I wish you the best of luck with whatever you do and continue to make your family proud :) !!
This is sad news, dmjack. I wish things could have worked out better for you here. I wish you well in the software development and gaming. I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Thank you. I keep them in my prayers too after I cry a little. Again thank you. Remember, I will still be on google plus and my social networks as usual.
