How she created a blog that made $1.5 million a year!
Oh yeah, she also found out that she had been featured on Oprah Magazine! How This Woman Created a Blog That Generates $1.5 Million a Year
Don't understand why so many people who aspire to become successful at this industry give up. I know that doesn't apply to you because you're reading this missive.
It applies those who won't read a post like this - or study other's who are having success as bloggers and online business owners.
I am still in Bootcamp with Kyle and attend as many of Jay's live video training classes as possible... I also read many of the excellent posts that are created by entrepreneur's within this great community.
Yes, I'm a student of this industry.
I plan on becoming as successful as I can and will not stop learning from those who take this business seriously.
Jay's last training (his first in a series on email marketing, my favorite!) showed a new website he is developing.
In it, he showed (without fan fair) how it (he) had earned over $1,000 in just 3 days.
There is money to be made online, once you know the secret to how it's done.
I still struggle with building a website. Why? I don't have the time I wish I had to devote to it. I have another business to run. I have a wife that needs my help overcoming a very serious disease and she is my priority.
Guess you could say I have every reason to fail.
Failure is easy. Success can be hard. However, success did not come to the young lady I mentioned in the headline of this post.
It did not come easy for her either. She did not have a lot of time or money to devote to her blog in the beginning.
It took her over 5 years and admits that if she could start over she would have put more time into the title of her blog... she doesn't really like the name she chose.
Now she lives in a luxury motor home with her husband, travels the country and truly loves her life.
This is a business. It is worth every minute you spend with those at the top. I refuse to read anything that begins with words of dis-couragement.
Follow the leader ... remember the game called follow the leader?
We played it as kids.
Today, I'm still playing that game. I'm following the leaders in this new frontier called online marketing.
I want to encourage you to keep going because it is hard, it is not easy. I want to encourage you to stay with your dream because they DO come true for those who never listen to the naysayers.
Take a look at Michelle's story and remember where you saw it - at Oprah's website.
When Oprah started her career, everyone told her she was crazy and would never amount to anything...
I'm not promoting Oprah or anyone actually - just YOU.
Let's do this thing - thanks Jay, Kyle, Carson and team, you are the kind of leader I want to follow.
All the best!

Thank you for the encouragement. Truly needed at this point. One thing that struck me as relative is how the person told Oprah she would not amount to anything. Something very similar happened to our Dad. One of his High School teachers, yes teacher told him the very same thing. Well he raised 9 children while attaining his Bachelors, Masters, & Doctorate degrees. A great man he was, and those vicious words that person told him held no water at all. It is truly amazing what we can do with encouragement from our fellow citizens. Many thanks for bringing these memories back into my limelight.
Cheers,
Xav.
I am glad this sparked such a fine memory Xav. Yes, we need to be lifted up now and again.
