How do I know that I've found the right first niche?

Alright, so I'm new here and am only just beginning Course 2 on "Getting Started", so you can take this post with a grain of salt (or a full shaker of it!).
I was struggling with figuring out a niche and I posted questions for help, which I quickly received from members here (AWESOME support, btw!) My favorite piece of advice was to think about a topic that I could talk endlessly to a friend about. This got some ideas rolling around in my head.
The niche I selected has me so excited to write posts about that I can barely contain myself. I've also been able to come up with a list of high scoring keywords using Jaaxy within my niche. I'm able to focus on content and not worry for now about when it will earn me some dough. And believe me, I reeeeally look forward to bringing the income in!! But I trust the training and the process, so I am following step-by-step and not jumping ahead.
So, my personal enthusiasm is enough to convince me that I've selected a great first niche. Hopefully if you are still looking for yours, this will be encouraging. Think about what excites you to discuss with friends or colleagues, and that you won't quickly tire of researching.
