Early progress!

Hey everyone, I'm Derrick. I have been on the Wealthy Affiliate platform for only about a week now. It almost seems like it's been longer. So far I've completed about 90% of the second level of the Online Entrepreneur Certification training, and I'm also currently on phase 2 of the Affiliate Bootcamp training. Both of these training courses have been incredibly full of great stuff! At times, I can't believe how much knowledge the platform and the people in it have to offer, and I'm just getting started! Just how helpful and willing everyone is to help each other is refreshing and encouraging. No doubt, it's a great place full of huge hearts!

When going through the OEC training, I actually chose right away to go with an affiliate marketing or online entrepreneur niche. I did this partly because I can't transfer my already owned domains (2 of them) over to WA yet, and because I would love to give back to the community. Within my first couple of days on WA I had already decided that I would go through the Affiliate Bootcamp training and learn more about that niche, and ultimately help others find the opportunities within the community here.

I'm not only extremely grateful for being led to WA, but also very proud of myself for taking the leap of faith into it. As I said above, I've been on WA for around one week now, and I'm proud of how much I've carried myself through already- in the training, getting to know the platform, reaching out for help, and even communicating with a number of the folks here. I have been spending every waking moment that I'm not at my job, digging into the training and community here at WA. I'm truly on a mission! Also, I am new here, and I haven't even made a commission yet, but I still feel like I owe a lot to WA, and to what it has to offer. I'm left with a great sense of pride just to be a part of it!

My goal for the next three months is going to be hard. I realize that it may seem hard to reach, but I also know that it could be possible, so I'm gonna strive for it anyway! You see, as I said before, I'm on a mission, a mission to get out of and away from my toxic job. This goal is to be bringing in enough revenue through my online business to be able to fully replace my full time job income. This would allow me to finally get out of the job, and do what I've wanted to do for quite some time. Now, if I don't happen to reach that goal, I won't beat myself up, but I can no longer give into the fears and lies that have kept me from going after my dreams. I'm in this, and I won't be denied, not even by myself. Another goal of mine in the next three months is to have completed all of the OEC and Affiliate Bootcamp training courses, I hope to have been through more after that, and some classes too by then.

Within the next six months, I will have already gotten free of my full time job, and I will have a successful, revenue producing website. (I'm not saying I'll be a millionaire) I desire to be a full time affiliate marketer through my online business by then. Also, I hope to be starting on other revenue streams by this point. I will have much more time to accomplish things once I no longer have to go into work for hours every day. No matter the outcomes after these time periods, I am super excited to run full steam ahead into this new online business venture!
