I can't seem to figure out how to share posts/pages from my website on my social media.
Thank you everybody. I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to do it, but you've given me the ideas. Haha! I guess I have some sort of disconnecet between the social plugin and the content on my site. I'll keep trying until I figure it out!
it depends on what part you are struggling with...
if you have social icons on your site that you can click on to share your posts then you have that bit sorted - if not then installation of a social sharing plugin or a block plugin that has a social sharing block is required...
if when you click on your social icon for say facebook then the post does not display properly then you need to look at how you have setup your social sharing in your seo plugin....
so it is a two pronged attack to getting your posts shared...what we are saying is that your question is a bit vague...
In the meantime, you can totally share without any plugin. I didn’t have social sharing buttons on my site for a long time. Just paste the url anywhere. It’s no biggy :)
Ok, thanks Eric! I was able to figure it out. I am able to do it when using my smart phone. (I can see the share buttons on it, but it doesn't show up when I edit posts when using my laptop for whatever reason. It's all good though, I'm able to share it. Thanks for the help!

Other plugins include sassy social, add to any, grow social or social rocket.
Plugins tab and add new. WordPress sites back office.
The most direct way to share anything from your site is to just copy the url of the post you're wanting to share and then paste it into a Facebook post, as an example. For instagram you can paste the url of the post you're wanting to share and make it your instagram profile link.
There are plugins you can add to your posts so that not only you but your audience can share the content as well at the press of the button.
when you are editing your post...down the bottom where the seo part is there is another tab which you can add the social images and text for each post...
once published you can add either a plugin ( social warfare or similar) or add ultimate blocks plugin that give you the ability to add social blocks to your site... then you can click on these adding your post to your social media....
