It Can Take Awhile To Make Money - But It Does Happen - My Income Climb
I just wanted to share my income climb. It has been a slow but steady process of getting better at writing, figuring out what works and not giving up. I have been at WA for almost 2 years and I don't think I will ever leave! I love it here :)
I remember when I first started, I searched for proof that people actually made money on here, and the more time I spent here, the more proof I saw. Many people where making money as WA affiliates, but there were others making money in different niches as well.
I make most of my money as an Amazon affiliate. I didn't start out that way, and my income growth was verrrrry slow. Once I changed my links to Amazon, my sales started to go up and up and up. I still promote other programs, but the majority of the money I make comes from Amazon.
This is my income growth for Amazon from the year 2015:
This is my income for the year 2016 so far:
I am hoping that it just keeps GROWING! I want to make $6000 in one month!!!
Anyways, just wanted to show how possible it is to make decent money at this. And that it does take some time.
All the best,
Andrea

Wow Andrea, we'll done! You have worked so hard and I am delighted for you. You will succeed your goal! Olive
This is awesome and so inspiring for me!
What niche are you in?
Do you have any tips for increasing Amazon earnings?
I am in the world of organics :D
As for tips, I would say...do comparison posts, make sure you link to review products that are in a lower price range. And if you have the money, get Thrive content builder so you can make professional looking posts.
Good for you. People seem to trust Amazon. I've had good success ordering from them & returning things. When you're an affiliate, I like the fact that after so many sales your commission increases to 6%. I usually hit the 6% every month. I just need a lot more sales at 6% :)
Yes, they can go up to 8 or 9% I think. I used to only link to expensive products and they were with other online shops (small ones). When I started linking to better priced items on Amazon, my sales went way up.
Great post Andrea ... thank you for sharing. WA is definitely the place to be ... best darn internet business training platform on the web. And it just keeps getting better and better thanks to K&C's commitment to continuous improvement.
I often comment that success here requires a lot of PPD ... patience, persistence, and determination. I think you have said it even better ... "a slow but steady process of getting better at writing, figuring out what works and not giving up."
Your post is particularly encouraging to me since I recently made the same switch (from niche specific affiliation to Amazon affiliation). I was not happy with my product specific affiliations and the products are so readily available over at Amazon ... often at a better price.
It has required a lot of rework to my site and I continue the process of improved writing and figuring out what works. I will never give up.
So great to hear :) Yeah, I don't think I will ever give up being an Amazon affiliate. I like to use other affiliate programs as well, and I do see success, but I tell people that the product is not available on Amazon, or it is better to buy elsewhere.
Congratulations on your great progress! It is encouraging to hear these success stories. Keep up the good work.
