Surprise.Surprise, First Page on Yahoo and Bing

It's been two weeks now since I got the site up and a couple of items in WOO Commerce. Less than a week since Google indexed it. Today I checked Google, and I'm still not listed in the top 100. So today I thought I would check Yahoo for the first time, I typed in my keywords and started to scroll down the page. My eyes stopped on something that looked familiar. My first thought was someone stole my entire meta title and meta description. Instinctively I clicked on it as I was reading the URL under the meta title, that's my URL. As the site appeared on screen, I sat there almost in disbelief, I'm number 8 on the first page in Yahoo. OK, this is too good to be true, now try Bing, again scrolled down the page and there I was, number 9 on the first page of Bing.

This morning VitaliyG posted a page where he talked about going back and editing some of his older posts and running them through Jay's SERP Ranking Blueprint. Looking at the blueprint for the first time I realized that I did at least 80% of how Jay laid it out. All of what I did right came from the training for beginners, but this was the first time I saw it laid out so clear and concise.

We all know it's a work in progress and I'll continue to add and improve, but that was a nice way to start the day.
