We All Have Superpowers!

What separates superheroes from the average person? Well, it is superpowers, of course! And, did you know that we have those superpowers within ALL of us? Well, we really do and maybe you just haven't found it yet. It may take a traumatic experience or a downward spiral to figure it out, but we were all born with the power to do something great! It is our mindset that will take us there, so here are a few tips to get those superpowers up and running:

1. Adaptability ~ Let's be real...not everything always goes as planned, but the faster you learn to bounce back from that situation, the faster you will move forward. Everyone faces these things at one time or another, and the most successful people are masters of adapting to their situations or the environment.

2. Resilience ~ Everyone has a bad day every once in awhile, but we have the power to become resilient. By taking the ability to fall apart and then bouncing back even harder than before is actually taking action and turning the situation around. Then you will have full control of your superpowers! The dictionary defines resilient as 'able to become strong, healthy, or successful again after something bad happens'.

3. Sympathy ~ How many times were you told to try to 'walk in other people's shoes'? We were told that in order to get along with others so that we can see things from the other person's point of view. Using our ability to sympathize is one trait that we can utilize in both personal and professional life.

4. Intuition ~ Harness your gut instincts and use your self-awareness to guide you in the right direction. Balancing your mind, body & soul are so crucial in this day and age where we can become so disconnected.

5. Confidence ~ Every person's confidence shines in a different light because we all have different personalities and that is okay. The idea is to just embrace your own version of confidence. You have it in YOU just as much as that mentor you inspire to be.
