Are you making any money and how long did it take to see results?

Hi there,
We decided to promote WA due to lack of other niches at the time...it took a few months of hard work, but yes we do make money from it now. Not enough to quite my day job yet, but it's a welcoming extra income :)

my advice is to follow the training and do all the steps....and content content content...and you should eventually see monetary successes.

Have a lovely day!

cheers
Karina

Glad to hear that. Congrats!

Thanks for the reply Karina.

As for me, still busy with my website building especially the content. I did invited 1 person last 2 days and he sign-up on the same days. I am targeting people who want to learn about website building, how do make money online, how to work from home, basically people who are interested in something that bring benefits to them. I do my best to hit my target at least 50 by this year end. Just joined this month also. I'm also creating a list of persons whom I plan to invite personally. Hopefully, everything work well. If not, I'm keep on going and change my strategies until I get result and make more money in the process.

Thanks for the reply josephtai.

I am not promoting WA as yet, on my own niche it has been small amounts trying to get a regular stream, that is after almost 4mths

Thank you for the info KatieMac.

I have gotten 485 clicks 1 referral 0 sign-ups.

Thank you very much for the response.

I have invited 8 and had 1 signup.

I appreciate the reply Graham.

My stats as of today..I have invited 283 people..not one sign up..

Thanks for the,i hope, straight & honest answer. I am seeing if i can get an idea of what to expect from promoting WA since i don't have my own business to promote & make money from. I Don't want to throw $359 'out the window',so-to-speak.

I wouldn't think of it as throwing $359 "out the window" See it as an investment in your business and your education. Having a business online or getting an education is no different online than offline. It takes money, time and investment. Chances are that it will take a considerable amount of time to get enough signups to make a good income, just guessing here, though it has been my experience so far when trying to get people to move from free to paid. It is as if a lot of people think building a business and making money online is easy and free . It isn't. It takes money, patience, perseverance, hard work and meeting the right people, which you have here at Wealthy Affiliate.

My sentiments exactly! High number of people online are looking for get rich quick schemes... "lay by the beach and rake in tonnes of money"... without providing any value.

I read jjohnson777's blog about this, but not sure if what he said is correct. If it is,i don't really agree or think it should be that way.Thanks.

must of missed that one, have a good weekend

I am glad you got your question answered all the best

Thanks Maxiam59 & have a great day!

if you look at the ambassadorship icon on the left side will explain it to you

Thanks so much for the reply KatieMac.Yeah, right after posting my question, which was really twofold,i clicked on my blue rank tab & got all the info.Still didn't get any clarification/reply on my 2nd question about what jjohnston777 blogged.I just may post a blog myself on the topic.Take care.

Hi Dennis, Check up Top 100 icon on the top right side. it shows you.
Good Luck ! : )

Thanks for the reply bestshop.I found the info shortly after asking my question yesterday,so my question (part 1) was answered.I do agree with the ranking system & its purpose.I still haven't seen a reply to my question about jjohnston777 saying/implying that the lower your rank # is the faster you get help or a reply to questions,& the higher your rank # the longer the response time you will have.I just may put together a blog on the subject for community discussion.

Hi Dennis, if you go look at your rank page. and look at the top 100, it shows you that they are ranked by.
Helper: 1, Creator: 2, Activity: 1. Thats Kyles, rankings factors. Its an acknowledgement of the effort put forth by members that are here, and the contributions they make. I have read that there are some kind of rewards for being high ranked, but I do not think thats what is really driving the people being ranked ;) . Best wishes on your endeavors

Thanks Drawshot.I just now found the info on the rank page ( didn't know it was even there ) & read it,so i understand it & agree with it. I am still not sure that what jjohnson777 said is correct about response time to questions depends on what your ranking is. Again,if that is correct,i don't really agree or think it should be that way.

Can't find the email feature or how to actually use it to send WA info to others.

One thing you can do is to put your affiliate link on your website, then when people visit your site they may click on your affiliate link. You can also place a banner on your site as well. There are many ways you can get your affiliate link out there, PM me if you would like to know more.

Ok Graham & thanks.I don't have a website or domain yet, so i guess i either need to do that first, or i will just send some emails to people with my google email address & maybe put something on facebook. I guess i can also just skip Task 4 in bootcamp, move on,& come back to it later.Too much confusion, frustration,& discouragement right now!

Click on to the Build my Website tab Then on that page at the top is an email tab. click on it This will take you to the page where you can add an email account. Simply ad an email address to whatever of your domains you like.. It takes a few seconds.
After the account is created you can login and send an email. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the direct & specific answer.I believe i can get somewhere with that now.One other question:How do i actually use my affiliate link to send people directly to WA.com, & also share blog posts with them?
