Taking a Look Around to Appreciate the Landscape
After doing 2 straight weeks of daily work at Wealthy Affiliate, I was unable to do anything the last 2 days due to work responsibilities and family duties. I started to feel guilty about it. I felt my momentum slowing down. I started beating myself up about it.
Then I took a deep breath and refocused my thoughts. What I then saw was the truth about my present situation. I accomplished a heck of a lot over the last 2 weeks. I completed 2 certification course, I built a website, I learned how Wordpress works, I learned how Jaxxy works and signed up for the PRO account, I gave feedback on other people's sites, I created a Google+ account, I read a book about mindfulness which is my niche, I answered questions that other's had asked, I created a you tube account and uploaded my own video, learned how to embed a video on Wordpress, saw my ranking go up from 3500 to 896, and met wonderful people from all over the world.
So the truth is, I did amazing things over the last 2 weeks. I should be proud of myself not beat myself up for not doing anything with my website over the last 2 days.
The lesson I learned is that every so often I need to step back and look around at the landscape to appreciate it. Appreciate my accomplishments and breathe.
So for all you Wealthy Affiliates out there, remember this is not a race. We all must go at our own pace which is dependent on our life situations. Let us all remember our families and spend time with them and share our love and gratitude towards them. They are our most precious gems in our lives.
To all a good night or good morning wherever you are.
