The Most Unsocial Person You Will Ever Meet
Have you ever met that guy that just didn't get Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or Pinterest? That person was me, before I became a member of WA. For years the children and even grand children kept telling me " you have to get a Facebook account". To me they were speaking a foreign language, I had no idea why anyone would feel the need to share themself with the world.
Then I joined Wealthy Affiliate to get an education on internet marketing. The education I received turned out to be more than I had expected, and yes I found my views on social networking were being challenged everyday.I guess you could say that this is one old dog who has learned a new trick or two.
The WA community was indeed my first experience with social networking, and thanks to the members here I can honestly say it has been more enjoyable than I could ever have imagined.
If you are new here at Wealthy Affiliate, you owe it to yourself to tap into the community. The community has been a tremendous benefit to me and I am sure you will agree if you give it a try.
Here are a few of the benefits that being social has provided me, maybe it will help you get started:
1: I have met some really great people here, from all walks of life, and from places I have never heard of.
2: I have found a wealth of information from people who are top professionals in many different fields.
3:Many of the members here have shared their cultures with me. It has been an absolute pleasure to learn from their experiences.
4:Not once has anyone asked me about my social status, or level of experience
5:I have spent hours searching for information on Google and coming up empty. Every time a member here has had the answer.
To sum it all up, my grand daughter wants to check my Facebook and WA everytime she comes to visit now, and she thinks I am a little cooler now. Being social is one trick I am glad this old dog took the time to learn

You and me both. My son got me to sign up with all the Social Media available, or should I say signed up for me after I got into the WA community.
I'm still having trouble navigating them but very much at home with WA simply because of family. Be blessed....

I'm so proud of you Don. You've come a long way my friend. Thanks for trusting in me and giving this a shot. Now you understand why this is my top recommendation.
Hi Eddy, I can always count on you for a pat on the back. What can I say you were right, but then you probably hear that a lot.The people here make it easy and fun.Where else can you have this much fun and get paid.LOL
Thank you Sarita. A year ago you couldn't get me to sit down and type two words, so to say I have learned a great deal of things is an understatement. But then I have met a lot of good people like you, and it has been fun.
LOL...it reminds me a lot the way I was too!!! We learned a great deal of things over here,no doubt about it! It's so good to know that are other people just like you...Thank you for sharing!
