Preparing for a new career chapter

After what I thought was a successful work year, the dreaded annual merit process did me no favors. So I'll continue to slowly work on other avenues to keep my options open. The irony is that I'm in charge of the merit process! You gotta laugh.

Going in slow

After several months away, I'm back to make something happen even if going in slow. I know we are supposed to focus on one type of subject but I'm going to focus on 3. I thought about 3 separate sites but that is too much work. So it will be about being an empty nester, quilting and being a HR professional. Three completely different things but it is who I am!

Have you ever been on the Peter Pan ride at Disneyland? Every car turns the corner into the dark and you hear Peter Pan say, "Here we go!..." as the car flys over London at night. I love that ride.
