Hi, yes, you just need to configure your WA mail account with your mail clients.
Here's some training: How to set up WA email account in outlook How to Setup Your WA Email Account(s) in Apple Mail
I have already done all the set up for WA email account. Now I need to know where I would look to find any email actuallly sent to that account. Where in WA do you find your ac
Debra,
Are you referring to your domain email?
If so, that can be found by going into websites on your dashboard, then clicking on site manager and across on the very top you to the right you will see site email. That is where you website email is located.
Hey Debra,
1.) Go to your Account Settings: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile
2.) Scroll down the page until you come to Email Notification Settings
3.) To the right of Notifications, you should see Edit as an option. When you click on that link you will be provided with a list of options in which you can leave as is... or make the necessary changes you want.
4.) If you want to change the email address... you will see that option at the TOP of your Account Settings.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hi Trish
Thank you for the info. while it wasn't what I was looking for, it was very informative and something I appreciate learning. Having said that, your info has now created a further question. Maybe you can help with it.
My official WA email is the one I had when I first signed up and it is not my WA email that I created while going through the training. Thanks to your info, I now know how to change that email if I decide to do so, but choosing to make the change brings up my question.
Right now my official email is a Gmail one. That means anytime something is sent to that address, I am immediately notified on my phone/tablet/computer and can go check it. I can also access all my Gmail accounts directly from my phone.
What I don't understand is how I can accomplish the same thing for my WA email address. As of now, I get no notifications that I have received any email to my WA account, and have no quick way of checking it without first jumping through the hoops of going to WA, clicking on website, choosing email, and then logging in to my email account. This is too burdensome of a process and I don't like the fact that I am not notified if I receive emails to that account.
I would like to believe that there is a way to use/access my WA email account as easily as Gmail but have no idea what that might be or how to do it.
Is this possible and if so, how would I set it up? or who could I ask that would know, tech support?
Thanks so much for your feedback, it was greatly appreciated.
Debra
If you change your WA email login to your gmail then you will be notified, as you are with other emails. Then all you would need to do is simply click on the links within the WA notification emails, making it soooo much simpler to view anything shared on WA.
You can also setup your domain website email to be forwarded to your gmail account and be able to respond to email using your domain email address... in case that's what you were meaning with your question.
Here's a tutorial to show you how: How To Use Your Gmail Account For Your WA Email Addresses
Trish,
I think the second comment is the one I was addressing.
I will check out the link you sent.
Here is info for clarification:
My official WA email (that WA uses for all contacts with me) is debkeeinvesting@gmail.com. This is where they send all notification for my WA comments, like you responding to my question, personal responses, new WA posts etc.
You are right, that makes it very easy because: 1. I know that I received a response of some type; 2. all I have to do is click on the link in the email and I'm immediately taken to the response.
That is what I want for my email I created on WA.
That email is: debra@dancinghealingwatersllc.com. That email only exists on the WA platform, as far as I understand, and that is the one I would like to function like my gmail account.
3. I am afraid that if I change my official profile email to that address, the ease I mentioned for my Gmail one will be gone.
this is frustrating and not acceptable.
I have a Gmail account for my business - dancinghealingwatersllc@gmail.com, but as you know we were encouraged to create a personal one for use with our websites, thus the debra@dancinghealingwatersllc.com.
Should I try forwarding the WA email to my Gmail email?
If that is the answer, it seems like poor management for our WA email addresses to be so unmanageable.
Debra
Trish,
That video was awesome and very helpful. I followed it to the letter and hopefully, it will work like I want.
Thanks again for all your help.
Debra
PS, how do you keep track of all the various videos/trainings that you have seen or know about? Or how do you find them again when you want them.?
Okay... now I see the confusion. You refer to your email you creatd on WA. That email is your domain email and it is created on the WA web servers which are attached to our membership accounts for our ease.
So going forward, you can refer to that email address as your domain email address. And yes, Lynne's video will show you how to forward your domain email to gmail to make it easier for you to use.
If you setup your domain email address as per Lynne's video, you should have no problems with how your gmail account works right now.
Using a domain email address gives your business a professional look, yes.
I bookmark, tag and retrieve: Bookmarking Posts, Training, etc. at WA and I have even kept most valuable training and blog shortcuts in a folder on my desktop.
Thank you for letting me know Lynne's training helped you. Please DO like her training as a way to thank her too, won't you.
