Hi Everyone...

I know we are all hip-deep in the sales season, but I do hope that you can take a few minutes to think about positioning yourself in regards to affiliate programs for the coming year, and possibly even for the shopping season that is upon us...

No matter how you slice and dice the affiliate marketing segment, it remains a sweet spot to be in. All of us Wealthy Affiliate members have an advantage over most affiliates, in that we have the best platform available to get our businesses up and running.

That being said...

So what should we promote? What is going to bring us the most “bang for the buck”? Where should we focus our efforts? Which of the programs have the strong brand or service that will get attention and sales?

It all depends on your niche of course, but no matter what the niche may be that you are involved with, I have listed 10 programs in this article that showed up most often as top contenders in my research (and from my experience as well)…

---

The Process

I reviewed 20 different articles that discussed the best affiliate programs to look at and come up with my “the best list of lists.” I chose to present these using a decidedly and definitely unscientific process, but from what I can see, these are ones that can work for you now and on into 2020 (which is coming VERY soon) and beyond…

These are all well-known brands and there is a lot of competition to grab the referrals to earn commissions….

But remember what we have learned in the training: Competition is not a bad thing as it indicates there is a lively market for what you are offering. You can recommend all of these knowing that they are solid and will sell…

So without further ado…let's get started...The number one will not surprise you, I think…

---

The 10 Highest-Paying Affiliate Programs for YOU

These are in the order that I would consider them, and the last two are there because of the versatility they offer moreso than for the commission rates you may receive.

So, our number one program is...

---

(1) Wealthy Affiliate

Perhaps I am not being exactly objective on making this my number one choice, but based on my experience here over 4 ½ years, there is simply no better program to promote.

Where else can members learn to build and grow a real business and have wild success following a proven path that the co-founders have laid out? The training and features that you get in addition to the tools (not to mention the active and supportive community) make this an easy choice.

The affiliate program pays well, they pay on time, and the amounts you can earn are considerable. It is easy to sell quality, a main takeaway from this program. Can you ask for anything more?

Also...

Who better to offer an inside view of the platform than you? You can point out why you like and use it and why you recommend it. Not a cake-walk but you do have a story to tell, and people will listen/take action…

Note: A “shoulder program” to add to the Wealthy Affiliate platform is the Jaaxy Keyword tool that you have access to. Online marketers need a solid tool for doing research and Jaaxy is up there with the best.

Since you are promoting Wealthy Affiliate, why not add in Jaaxy as well?

(2) ClickFunnels

I am involved with and use for our business another tool suite that has modeled their platform and affiliate program after what ClickFunnels has put together, but although they are good, they do not hold a candle to what Russell Brunson has built with his ClickFunnels brand.

Thousands of cult-like avid fans swear by this platform and indeed Russell has put together a proven formula for selling products and services that has helped many thousands grow their business into a 5, 6, or 7 figure business. There has to be something behind the mystique, right?

So what is in it for you?

They also offer a 40% commission on a recurring basis for sales to referrals you bring. They have some expensive levels of products that cost between $99 and $299 a month or more. That is where you come in with your review and recommendation. It is a solid platform.

Personally, I am not a huge fan because there are some competitive products that do more and cost less, but it is a viable and proven affiliate program to consider. I know that I have some friends that just cannot stop talking about the platform (I wish they would though…)!

(3) LeadPages

Leadpages is another major brand that is right up there at the top in regards to brand recognition with their huge target audience (a wide swath of prospects – really anyone doing business online can use what they have to offer).

They focus on lead generation tools, and they have a suite of options that are in use by many thousands of marketers and businesses. The commission rate is 30% recurring, for renewals, upgrades, etc. This is not bad as customers tend to stick around this platform and use the tools month after month (because they work!).

(4) Fiverr

I recently posted a blog here on 5 quick ways to make money over the holidays, and Fiverr was one of the suggestions I included. The reason is that lots of people go there all the time and look for help.

---

If you want to check that article out, here is the link:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/davesw/blog/5-ways-to-earn-s...

---

Whatever skills you may have you can publish an offer on the site and earn some cash quickly. A lot depends on the skills and experience you have and also your negotiation skills.

But there are more ways to earn too…

What if I told you there is yet another way to earn good money without having to promote yourself and sell your services? Yes, you probably guessed already – you can join their affiliate program and earn money off the site passively.

How much can you earn?

You can earn up to $150 for every new customer that you send to them, and they have a dynamic CPA model that will pay you some good commissions for your one-time effort to get a review in place and some additional effort getting the word out about them…

Essentially, they will pay you to drive prospects to them, they will take it from there…

Okay, moving on...

(5) Constant Contact

Email marketing is getting harder and harder to have success with these days as people spend more time on their smartphones and the social platforms, and less time on their laptops using the tools (and email) normally accessed while in the home/on the go.

Nonetheless, email is still the most popular channel for marketing online, and despite ever more dismal open and click-through rates, it still works. You have to combine different approaches to touches with the client, and this is where the Constant Contact platform comes in.

It is a big brand and they have many thousands of clients that happily use their services month after month.

How can you leverage that amount of business they are pulling in?

How about this way: You can earn unlimited commissions promoting their platform…They offer $5 for each referral that signs up to their free trial (no credit card required – does THAT sound familiar?) plus $105 when your referral pays for a full account.

Those are the numbers that get my attention, and they should get yours too…

(6) Media [dot] net

Do you notice that the affiliate programs I am recommending are all ones that do tasks for online and offline marketer? This is for a reason...they lend themselves well to recurring commissions for you and offer solid value to the referrals you send...

They are tools that help business people do more with their time (for a price). They can help businesses scale up operations and save manpower and do the jobs more efficiently. They make sense and will be used...

So this option is yet another area where automation tools can help and the good companies like this next one are selling their services like hotcakes…

Media [dot] net helps clients tap into one of the largest pools of advertisers in the world. The company helps you maximize your monetization from using the various ad networks. They help users earn from every single impression seamlessly almost using contextual ads, display ads, and their customizable native ads…

This is all done on automatic…

They have an ambassador program that will pay you a 10% commission for a year for all your referrals that sign up – plus starting out they will pay you an extra 10% for your first three months!

Businesses use advertising, some more, some less, but it is a huge business and will not go away, ever…More dollars are being spent online versus the old ad channels, and you can tap into this trend...

This is yet another long-term way for you to start generating some recurring income that will allow you to leave that 9-5 job!

The next one you likely have heard about as well…

---

(7) Shopify

I am sure that you know or have heard about Shopify…It is perhaps the most well-known e-commerce platform, website builder and point of sales software providers that is used around the world. I have one store there myself like many thousands of other people do!

They provide fast and easy solutions for entrepreneurs that want to get started selling their products fast. Set up is easy, and the basic entry level will run a low price. This is how they pull in clients. That is how they got me…

Once you start getting traffic and making sales, your costs will likely go up. That is okay as you are also earning more money as a seller. For you as an affiliate marketer, that is okay too, because you will be earning more.

Users tend to stay on the platform too once they are using it. They can focus on marketing and sales because the platform just works and they do not have to spend their time tweaking their store.

So how much can you earn as an affiliate?

Glad you asked…You can earn up to a 200% commission depending on the price of the referral’s subscription. That can be a hefty sum for you. Average commissions are $58 for each paid referral link, and a hefty $2000 for each Plus referral that you manage to send to them.

Did those figures grab your attention? They sure did grab mine!

(8) LiveChat Partner Program

The LiveChat tool is another platform that I have personal experience with. This is the tool that we use for our own customer service program and also we offer the service to our clients (we have 2 lifetime deals so we do not pay a monthly charge as indicated – but we are the exception, not the rule).

How popular is this tool? Very… LiveChat is an online chat and help desk software. It just works…Right now it is being used by over 26,000 businesses across 150 countries. They are good and getting better (all of the platforms I am recommending are, BTW…That is why I have them in my list!).

You can earn a 20% recurring commission for referrals and this has no wear-out date, it is there as long as they remain a customer of LiveChat. This is also another tool that it is free to sign up to try and client payments (and commissions) are made monthly.

Two more to go, we are not done yet!

(9) ShareASale Network

I included the last two programs because you have so much to choose from once you have started with them. This first one, called ShareASale Network , consists of a large network of companies that offer a huge number of options for your affiliate promotions.

What is also attractive is that they have about 1,000 merchants who are SOLELY listing their affiliate programs through ShareASale. The ONLY way to access them is through the network. The commissions vary but will not be as high as the ones I have added above (generally, but there may be some that do, of course)…

It is the variety of options and the strength of the platform that persuaded me that they belong in this list. If you want to mix it up a bit and get some programs that are ones not being promoted by the masses, you likely can find it here.

Last but not least…

---

(10) Flex Offers

This is another huge network that you can tap into and they do have a great reputation. In 2015/16 they were in the top 10 Affiliate Network for Revenue and Performance according to Blue Book…

They have programs from many well-known brands and niche markets that you probably have heard of. They have over 12,000 programs to choose from, not an inconsequential number, I think you would agree?

Part of the features that attracts me is their in-house editorial team that creates unique product marketing content that you can use in your promotions.

These ten are some pretty good options...

---

Wrap Up

So there you have it! These are the top 10 programs that I have come up with based on a lot of research on my part to save you time from doing the work!

Of course there are many more options, but I highly recommend that you also add in one of these main sources of affiliate income with the others that you may work with.

The Amazon or similar options out there can and should be used as well, but remember the commissions are not as high. By mixing in a few of the higher paying programs, you can increase your income considerably.

It makes sense to me, and I hope it does to you!

---

ONE MORE TIDBIT...

Also, think about one more option when it comes to your portfolio of promoted companies…

I would also like to add that you may want to include some of the very small affiliate programs to your mix as well. Often you can get an even higher commission.

You can add these into your mix of programs to earn more commissions.

So...

What kind of programs are you promoting and are there any high-paying programs that you recommend? Let us know in the comments and ask any questions you might have as well!

Cheers!

Dave : )

I really like how your recommendation/ reviews are based on time-proven programs that you got experience in.

Many of my questions has been answered about the most popular platforms trending right now.

Thank you so much for this priceless info.

This post has renewed my faith in affiliate marketing as a still viable source of income and in WA as the best training platform.

Last but certainly not least the amazing WA community.

I suggest promoting WA's WP hosting separately, as WP hosting is a demand product and WA's is great. Outside of WA, Siteground and WP Engine are tops (according to SEO experts), so even if you do comparisons it pays to join their programs as well as people will make their own choices.

Hi Dave,
This an excellent, well thought out and presented piece.
Without going into any depth I'd add others such as Max Bounty, MoreNiche, Clickbank, JVZoo, CPA networks et al as potential options for others to look at as well.
Plenty out there for people to get stuck into!!
Mark

Most definitely agree, Mark! Thanks for the kind words and the ideas! Cheers! Dave

Dave, thanks for a very informative article. I started my blog thinking I would be an amazon affiliate for my niche but it seems it cost around $40 or $50 monthly to join their program. Now I am not sure what to do next. Does that sound correct to you and would you have any suggestions?

Hi, Nancy...

Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words...

In regard to your question, there's no fee to apply for being an Amazon affiliate. All you have to do is apply to the program which is known as Amazon Associates.

Before jumping into the application process, you need to have a website. After choosing a niche, building a website, and having a potential growth, you can apply for the program.

There are strict terms and conditions that you have to follow, so it would be good to check these (they change often) to make sure that your website is set up properly and that you comply with all requirements...

Amazon can be a great affiliate program and as long as you can promote other programs within the terms they have, I would do so.

Having a variety of programs helps you in that one month may be a down month in sales for one program but a second might do well...

Perhaps ShareASale or the Flex Offers are two other programs you might consider - they have lots of options for things to promote and are stable and trusted platforms (as in you will get paid)...

Cheers!

Dave, I am relieved to hear this and your are awesome to answer in details. I know you are busy here so that's why I appreciate you taking the time. I am taking your advice and honestly, you made my day!

Good Morning Dave,

You have come up with a creme de la creme list.
I am still playing with the idea of promoting WA but I would start small scale on a Siterubix website and see how it goes. I think I will put this on my wishlist for 2020.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Hi, Taetske!

Thanks for your feedback, and adding a WA promo to the wishlist for 2020 seems perfect! Here started out busy and now worse, hehe...Not sure how much more I will add to my plate...

Enjoy the weather there, here it is actually quite nice now (some say cool, I say nice)...Best time for outdoor activities and such...Beaches, camping in the desert, and BBQ, all is on again!

Cheers!
Dave : )

A sudden cold front has put half of Spain under the snow. Lovely pictures on the Spanish news, isolated villages, ever so pretty and quiet.
Here a sudden temperature dive to 10C at night, needed an extra cover.

All the best, Taetske

Stay warm! I have a sweatshirt on myself and am burning the midnight oil getting things done for the sales coming up...Oooof!

Cheers to you two!

Dave : )

We could go to FB as there it is getting rather hot.

Haha...I like your sense of humor! : )
