Social Media Statistics: March 2019

This is posted for everyone really, but is specifically for the benefits of those newer to the platform and for those, who are a little way into their journey, but maybe not quite sure which social media platform/s ar the best to use for promotion of their business

So, this is my March Month End Social Media Stats which are not designed to be impressive, nor are they there for gloating and saying look at me, because I am far from that

They are there to show you what can be achieved, when the training here is applied and you have a little bit of organisation going on, I also apply other training I have gained before coming here too

For those that don't know, I have been using social media, since the get go, so going right back to 2002 and have optimised profiles on all the platforms, with notifications coming into my Google Inbox, so I work centrally from that. I find Google works better in terms of email, but if you use another provider, then this will work equally well with that

Some regular followers of this blog, will know that I chose to make YouTube my prime marketing channel this year

Why?... Well because our blogs need videos, and YouTube is the 2nd largest search enginethe world, there are a ton of benefits to be had from using

So we shall start there.

Videos Produced: How to and Review

Subscribers to my channel +5

Views: 2.324,

Mins watched: 2, 700 now this figure is important, because when you reach 4,000 minutes in the previous month, you unlock a lot of the benefits YouTube gives you

Community Engagement: 9 likes, 3 comments, 2 posts and 15 shares

LinkedIn

Linkedin is a hot bed of engagement, which is great for building your list.Again I use it daily and have a fully optimised profile and Business page on the platform

In the past week, just by responding to notifications and saying thanks to people, my profile has been searched for 99 times, with lots of conversations taking place daily, as people expect to do business on there, by way of recommendation.

Profile Views: 212, this is slightly down from Previously, but I am still happy with it

Twitter

This is slightly different, because the analytics are done on a 7 day basis

Why Use Twitter?... Because it is easy to share your blog, and videos to & from YouTube

It is also the only real time social network, that has a bunch of good automation tools, which mean that you can be seen on the platform even if you are not actually on it

Tweets: were up by 1,450%

Impressions( Tweets clicked on) : up 108%

Mentions 5

Followers: up 15

Top refererring Tweet resource: Quora

Top Tweet engagement 4.5%

QUORA

This is linked to Twitter and works a slightly different way again with its analytics, but these are my stats for being active on that platform

I gave 372 Answers, the vast majority of which included my blog link, or a pretty link to a blog article providing the answer

From that I had 4 upvotes on it and good engagement from a couple of likeminded people

Pinterest

Now I have to admit, this is my weakness, I have not done as much with this as I should have done, but given that, I am impressed with my figures, especially as I have now figured out how to best use the platform for results

My Avg Daily Impressions are up 300%

My Avg Daily Viewers are up 300%

My Monthly viewers are also up 11.11%

I have also just started Instagram as well, but have no figures for that as yet

I have omitted Facebook from this, because despite using a strategy with and on it, for groups and using my page, that platform is proving to be the worst for activity, even though your page can be and mine is linked to Twitter

So reading this, you might be thinking,

"Jeez thats a lot of work there, how am I going to do all that"

So let me explain, how I do this and it might help you with your promotions

As mentioned I work centrally from Google and so respond to all notifications. I do this daily

I also have more than one site, so with each platform, I will have one of my blogs, on them and that is dependent on how each social platform works. My profiles on all the platforms and my picture read the same, so there is continuity there and the confusion is avoided

By Confusion I mean for people reading my profile they will not be asking the question, what does he do?... They are left in no doubt what I do and every thing is responded to in a timely manner.

The only Automation tool I use at this time is SocialOOmph, which is twitters own one and offers a variety of good options, all of which are free

How do I avoid the WA spam alert from places like Pinterest?... Thats simple enough to do, when I have written an article on my blog, I then pin the image from that post to Pinterest, which avoids the direct link from WA, which seems to irritate Pinterest

How long does all this social media Activity take to do?... Believe it or not, not that long at all, when you are responding / reacting to a notification. I only work ( if work is the right word) from 9~5 and spend my afternoons writing my blog out. I also do 1 simple thing when responding to notifications that no one else does & I know no one else does it, because its not there

Do I get leads with this?... Yes I do on a regular basis, and they are people I choose to work with, who are pre~qualified first of all

Do I Earn with this?... Yes I do, but am not prepared to discose that ( sorry!)

So that is my Social Media Stats for March, its the way I do things, but as always, If I can do this a smarter way, than I am now, then please feel free to comment and let me know what you do, do you have similar or better figures, if so how do you do that
