This post, is written, mainly for the benefits if the newer people on the platform, to highlight and show how the platform, can work for you, should you choose this option

I have today, transferred a domain, from my other domain name provider, at NameCheap, to Wealthy Affiliate

There are a couple of reasons for doing so, neither has to do with Price, because when it comes to pricing, both Namecheap and Wealthy Affiliate are very similar in terms of this, but one of the reasons was because, I found Wealthy Affiliate, by accident, but was looking for a good hosting platfrom, after reading

Websites on the left hand menu

Select Domains

Then transfer a domain to Wealthy Affiliate

That process will point you in the direction of what you have to do next and that depends on who your present domain name provider is and how difficult they will make it.

Namecheap thankfully are very good and make things simple in terms of the Auth Code you will need.I got that sent by email, which took a few seconds and then transferred it into the box on the domain section.

Next I was asked how I wanted to pay for the domain and if you have been producing training, or have credits in the bank here at Wealthy Affiliate, then you can elect to use those ( its quite nice feeling to do it that way!!) .I have been and chose that option.Then clicked the button that started the transfer

The rest is up to Technical Support, but is fuss free and absolutely no stress attached to it at all

On the subject of transferring domains, but a seperate note again for those who are newer and may not be aware of this option

If you choose to create a domain through Wealthy Affiliate, then you earn credits, which can be accumulated along with the trainings you do (subject to minimum time on this platform) to a cash payout, when you choose to do so
