Greetings WA World. I’ve just come across this little poster that I thought was absolutely fantastic.

It carries on, quite seamlessly, from my little blog yesterday about self-worth.

How many of us have a tale or two to tell.

Most of us will have rough edges and tattered un-ironed seams where life has taken it’s toll.

But how many of us realise that here is an opportunity to pass on our hard earned survival tips to other generations.

Perhaps we should all consider how we can weave our experiences into our blogs and niches.

We all try and concentrate on how good we are at our niche subject but how about including some disasters in there too, especially if overcoming them, if improvising and adapting saved the day.

Did you perhaps turn a problem around and profit from it.

Did your diary of disaster become a story of success.

I’m sure others would like to “read all about it”, especially if the moral of the adventure inspires them to be better people themselves and better equipped to be entrepreneurs.

There is a term that is often used in military circles - Improvise, adapt and overcome.

Well, did you. How did you overcome those obstacles on the long road to where you are now.

Tell others, put it in your blogs, make your niche story richer and more interesting.

The longer that people are on your site, the more often that they return to read more, the more successful you may be.

Write a great story

Got it Dave! We all need to be better story tellers. Nothing holds a reader's attention than showing him step by step how you overcame a problem. Especially, if it is a problem he or a friend or relative is currently dealing with. They will stay glued to your page and bring others along to read. Before you know what is happening, you will have a following

Spot on Dada. That story will keep them coming back.
Stay focused, stay lucky my friend.

That is indeed a fantastic little poster you have come across there Bux.

I totally agree that if we share more of the difficulties we have overcome (and they are related to our niche of course), then the more we will be able to help our readers and ultimately keep them coming back for more!

Great read and message as always buddy, take care!:-)

Super feedback Nick.
Helping others helps us too.

Thanks Bux, it certainly does!

I have been working through ...stuff since February, that at times, I have felt that it can't be really happening and then happening.
My personality and more importantly my faith have seen me through to here and now.
One thought that keeps me focused is that when I come out the other side, I am going to have a success story.
I just hope people will believe me when I "tell all".
So, yes I hope to turn my turmoil into a great story!
Thank you for sharing this!

Stephen

Brilliant Stephen. Promise yourself that you will do that.
You can do it my friend.
Good luck.

Your encouraging words are greatly appreciated!
I started jotting down dates and places and short memos of events.
I am definitely going to have to write it, for the catharsis if nothing else!

Thank you,
Stephen

That's a fantastic idea, Dave
Others will connect with us via our stories

Absolutely S.
When I read it I had the same thoughts as you.
Sharing is a way of making bonds that will bring people back.
Keep well.
Dave. 😎

Absolutely :)
