More work

Does any one else get into work loops and then into more work loops

I find that at times I just get the motivation and energy to keep going and going.

And then at other times, fortunately very rarely, I can’t seem to string a sentence together. I just look at the computer screen and then at my notebook and then back at the computer and wonder – just what am I supposed to be doing.

Take this week for instance, I’m in hyper-work mode. is that even a word – it is now.

I finished a video on Sunday, finished another yesterday, Tuesday, and now I’m 50% through a third video for this week and already planning the fourth.

What is going on.

I’m sure there is a psychological explanation for this but I just wondered if other WA members got these hyperactive phases and how did they make best use of them.

It’s slowly moving towards midnight here and I’m not tired but I really need to go to zero, I must be up and out of the house early on Thursday.

How do you cope, is there a way of coping, how do others capitalize on this.

There are days when I cannot seem to do anything and other days when I am a dynamo for work. Sadly they seem to be fewer these days.

They are Simone. It still took an hour for my brain to slow down enough to sleep and I had to be up at five.
Woke up with even more ideas, I think I need 40 hour days and an eight day week.
Glad you are up and at it.
It's all out there for us, but sitting and watching won't cut it.

I’m sorry S. It’s not good when your brain says go and your body needs rest. I slept deeply last night. Had my Covid booster yesterday and it has really derailed me. Good job I’m in front with work, every bone aches and getting the shivers. It will pass.🦏.

Of course, we all go blank sometimes while writing, and at other times we are full of energy.
What I find helpful is to take a short break, a walk, chat with a friend or do something I enjoy doing most.
After that, return to work and do freewriting. Write whatever comes to you, free your mind.
I can always get back to fixing the grammar and spelling errors later.
With that, I get energized and come up with fresh ideas.
