Reasons to be motivated- part one of many (I hope).
Well, here we are on the other side of another hospital visit. Some of you will know that I have been diagnosed with cancer – aaaggghhh! Two types – double aaaggghhh!
Some folks call it the big C, but not me. It’s little c to me, because I’m going to beat this thing. And good news already. The cancer on my face has all been cut out and I’m now clear of that one. I even had it done under local anaesthetic – if we do this, the surgeon said, you need to keep really still. So I did.
The surgeon chappy says it is all gone and will not return. Brilliant news, so brilliant, he’s even discharged me from his clinic, and I will be eating a celebratory steak next week – the first since January.
On to cancer number 2, the leukaemia thingy. Not so lucky with this one. Apparently, I’ve got this for life now, but they expect me to trundle along for several years and as long as I’m careful with my health, I should not have any problems – not big ones anyway. So little c it is.
The point of this blog is, I’m fighting it by being motivated to do things, motivated to do more. Now that I know what it is that I have got, I do, genuinely, feel more get up and go. I have to do something about this and my body is responding.
When faced with problems, turn and face the action. Meet it head on, you will feel better for it.
As we go through our daily lives, as we build our businesses, there are going to be many occasions when we come across a difficulty or two. Don’t give in, face the problem and work your way through it, slowly if need be. But don’t give in, not never, not no way, not a hope – I’m in charge of this.
Make a little progress with your business every day and at the end of a year you will be surprised at just how far you have come. If you keep missing action days here and there, make a pact with yourself to stop. Do something today, now, and keep that creative flow going.
So, little c nil – Bux 2. I will not be beaten.
Stay motivated folks – just do it.

I'm sorry that you are having to go through all this, Bux, but at the same time, I'm glad that you have such an upbeat attitude. It's also great that you have been discharged from the clinic; that's a good sign.
It's so important to stay motivated for life and to be doers rather than moaners! I know that you are very much a doer!

I just noticed you have been ranking at number 7; you have been busy!
Not intentional ranking Roy. Just pootling about, e-chatting to friends like you. What matters most is the cameraderie. I know its distant cameraderie, but sometimes it is exactly the sort of thing I need. Especially after a day at the hospital. One day there takes me two more days to settle down again and blogging and e-chatting really helps.

I hear you big time, Bux, regarding the ranking; it's the same with me! Great minds think alike! To be fair, I have cut down my activity on Wealthy Affiliate, but I believe when we have written lots of blog posts on the platform, it doesn't take much to rank highly!
I think it is good and healthy to connect with like-minded people, Bux. I normally comment first thing in the morning, as it almost helps me to wake up and prepare for writing etc. It's amazing how well we can get to know other members, just by commenting on blog posts etc.
When I first started researching about making money online back in 2004, I was totally on my own, 100%! I could see the power and potential of the Internet, but I didn't know what to do. Having good training and like-minded people around us is an absolutely massive bonus and very healthy!
Despite what anyone says, it's important to have good people around us.
