I have just had a most gratifying experience. One of those moments when I felt really good about myself and about what I had just done to help someone, and it only took 30 seconds of my time.
Yesterday I blogged on this platform that I had completed ALL my tasks on my weekly plan by Friday afternoon – the jigsaw blog. This included uploading and scheduling the next video onto YouTube for publishing at 6am on Monday.
Just thirty minutes ago, I checked my feedback and comments on YouTube. Something that I do every day. If folk are good enough to leave a comment or ask a question then the least that I can do is to reply promptly and this I do every evening without fail. Besides, the number of comments that I get, if I left it more than two days I would have a mountain of comments to work through.
Anyway, back to this gratifying incident. An electrician had just left a question, literally, only two minutes before I checked for feedback – could he make a request.
Certainly, how can I help you. After all, the channel was set up to help electricians to learn electrics.
Can you do a video or web post on Voltage Drop Formula please.
Absolutely not a problem, that was the exact video that I had uploaded yesterday.
Certainly, I replied, it will be published on Monday, two days from now and will also be on the website the same day.
It absolutely made his evening. Not only was he a new subscriber to the channel, but in less than five minutes of asking for help, he was told that the video he needed to watch to get that help would be published in just 30 hours from now.
He was totally made up. How is that for customer service.
How can I help you. That should be our mantra.

That's great Bux, I'm so nervous working with electricity, been shocked several times. I get the shakes changing a light bulb.
So many are the same Roger and so many get hurt, even those in the trade. That is why my passion is to show as many as possible the right and safe ways to go about our black art.
