No Winning Lottery Ticket
Do you remember the movie Alice in Wonderland? Specifically the scene where Alice comes to the fork in the road? With creepy colors and a little bit of spooky music in the background we meet crazy eyes and the big quarter moon spooky smile of thee one and only Cheshire cat. Alice asks the Cat which way she should go. The cat told Alice that it depends on where she wants to get to? Alice says it really doesn't matter as long as... the cat jumps back in and tells Alice "then it really doesn't matter which way you go ".
Did you catch it? Alice had the opportunity to define her direction and state her purpose. She led with the line " it really doesn't matter as long as ..."
If you're thinking it wont happen or it really doesn't matter, than your mind will back up your thoughts with supporting actions.
That little two minute story line sums up my entire career planning experience. Was it the same for you?
The last twenty years I have been moving between many opportunities & jobs. Sorting & filtering, moving in the direction of helping people. A winning lottery ticket will not be in my future or in yours. In fact you are 5000 times more likely to be legally executed than to win a significant sum of cash in the lotto.
So what is our alternative?....Opportunity is usually missed because it comes dressed in work clothes. The Actions Kyle & Carson speak of are absolutely essential.
Words are just words until their put into action and it will be actions, not words that change this earth. (We Came As Romans)

so very true we need to know our direction and be focused on it thank you will re-access my thinking ,, sometimes easy to lose site of our destination
That gut feeling is razor accurate. I heard of it used analagizing an inner navigation system built into our psyche.

Hi and interesting approach - u have watched the movie over 50 times yes I have as it is one of the test disc I use when setting up sound systems but will now bote you with that -
I have found that life is constantly giving you choices and yes which way to go and I have learned that you go with your gut feel - if it feels good do and if it feel right then go for it -
My says says when you are in the shop get me some fish and I say what kind and she says just go with the guts so I go and look and feel oh that one and it works every time but that is only one example so WA wax again the same - this feels right so U am doing it and loving it - been here nearly six weeks and time has flown and I have have more fun every day !!!!?

Right on Daryl! I did catch that in the movie.
It's too often, and starts early, that we hand our fate over to someone or something else and it is completely wrong yet as individuals and societies we gladly accept it!
