A kick in the nuts.

Last Update: October 25, 2015

I'm a little bit compulsive about somethings so since I signed up with WA I've been logging the amount of hours I've been working on my site, 76 hours in just over 6 weeks if anyone's interested. Quite a bit of time in anyone's book. So to receive a message from the creator of the product my site has been designed to promote telling me they're taking their product of clickbank and are no longer interested in an affiliate partnership is pulling the rug from under my feet to put it mildly.

However these things are done to test us, there's no point in crying over spilt milk I'll just have to look forwards to my next project...

...Any ideas?

Hi Dan the online business model is no different to the bricks and morta model . We will always experience challenges , the key is to deal with issues as they arise and try and put strategies in place to resolve any issues that may occur in the future . The thing to remember is that affiliate programs need marketers more than we need them . Or to coin an old saying there are plenty of fish in the sea . Dust your self off and crack on . It probably won't be the first nor last time something like this will happen . Best wishes .

You have to remain flexible at any point in your business, you can never tie yourself to ONE thing, one direction and be too set in stone because things like this will happen. At the end of the day, although it may not feel like it now, you will be better from it as a result.

If you ever need any help as you move forward with your business/campaigns, let me know. There are millions of things you can promote as an affiliate, so focus on the traffic as once you have a constant stream of traffic that is something that will lead to sustainability, regardless of what you promote.

I understand that you have been removed from the affiliate link, but there are always other places you could try to affiliate with if that is what you want to do.
I would google your niche + affiliate programs and see where that takes you.
Hope that helps!

My first thought - your not spending nearly enough time on your business. 76 hours in just over 6 weeks in not anything to brag about.

Secondly I will tell you that you may be removed from affiliate programs at any time.

Do you know why ??.... I'll tell you.

Affiliate programs are letting you advertise for them. Letting you is a key thing to understand. They are letting you and they are willing to pay you for your willingness to advertise for them.

Sometimes, maybe even many times, affiliate programs cut there losses due to lack of sales on the part of the advertiser (you in this case).

I've been canceled by some and simply re applied and all was good again.

Don't sweat it but surely understand it.

If you have questions let me know.

ROCK ON!

I have a full time job a part time job and two young kids, I've spent at least 2 hours a day working on this, which has meant a lot of sacrifice, give me some more hours in the day and I'll happily devote them to WA.
Jay (an ambassador )did some training last month where he created a site promoting football snack helmet's, it was very informative so I followed that model. It's not for me to say that that training is inappropriate but clearly in this example it hasn't worked for me.
This isn't going to stop me but I've learnt a significant rule the hard way.

Any training may or may not work for a given niche as there are too many variables ... especially the niche.

you won't see quick results here because you are building a business and this takes time. The key is to have a plan and work it without fail. Follow the training courses and utilize jays classes and material from other members to fill in the gaps. You'll be fine if you do these things.

Dan,
Like you I work full time and put in all of the hours I can here and on my sites. There are never enough hours in the day to get done what I want to get done or what I would like to have gotten done.
You keep plugging away with what you are doing, 2 hours a day is 14 hours a week, that is 728 hours a year. There are many who do not even put that many hours into what is called a real job. With that much time put in you will see results.
Sorry they pulled out on you with what you were promoting, it is a learning process. Just a suggestion, but try promoting more than one thing so this does not happen again. The best way to keep this business going is multiple streams of income, I am sure you know that but it is worth repeating every now and then.
I am very happy to see you say you will not be stopped, that kind of attitude is what it will take to see success.
Best of luck to you, if you need any help with anything let me know.

I am always at your service,

San

Promote WA, they will not pull the rug out from under you and you will get paid.
