Making Progress
Where do I begin?
I'm not very good at writing about myself so please bare with me.
I just wanted to share my progress since joining Wealthy Affiliate and my plans for the future. The very idea of starting my own business was very scary however; I wanted to build a legacy where I get to help other people while simultanousley make money doing it.
I have started a business called Dysconnect; an online resource that helps adults with Dyspraxia. So far I have written a few articles explaining what Dyspraxia is, why it's not a bad thing and also some known celebrities that also have it.
My goals are to make at least Ā£6000 a month. I also want to learn how to promote my site and reach people who need help. I intend to look at some other niches too.
I have finished level 2 of my training and I can't wait to continue. There is so much more to learn here and the support from the WA community has been amazing!

Its great that you are here at Wealthy Affiliate, it will take time to get started and to get your websites up and running. Also decide what direction you want to go in.
Progress with your website and then with your film producing experience think about having a Youtube channel regarding speaking about your niche.

The first month is an important milestone, Daniel.
To be honest with you, making Ā£6000 a month is a really big goal - it requires much more time, patience and persistence than you may think.
However, the potential in affiliate marketing is huge, so it's definitely not impossible.
I've only been around here for bit over two months. Let me give you an idea of my progress so you can have an idea of what to expect.
When I first started, my goal was to hit $3000/month as soon as possible, which is a bit more realistic and attainable than your goal, but it still isn't easy at all.
Right now, I have 40 posts, 4 of which are product/membership reviews, and the rest are purely informational.
I still have around zero traffic, and zero commissions.
It's not my intention to sound like a pessimist, but I wanted to give you a nudge into realism.
When we first join, we're in awe of the money potential of the online world. A few months in, we understand that it's a long game and our frame our mind is adjusted accordingly.
