So many posts, so little time

Hello WA affiliates

Like most of you, you have many followers and are following many affiliates. And naturally, every time one of those affiliates creates a post, it goes into your email. Therein lies my problem.

I want to look at each one of these posts because I can never tell how valuable they will be to my business. However, if I look at every post that cuts into my productivity time. And of course, productive is what fills the till.

I'm just curious if anyone else has the same problem. If so, what do you do to keep yourself on the right track? Any answers you can give me in this will be much appreciated.

I hope each of you have a great Saturday (at least it Saturday in my part of the world).
Best wishes is always
Dan

It is true Dan .. I agree it is almost impossible to read them all.
So I pick in where I feel a need or attention.
The rest is parked in a file 'for later' use.
I wonder how actually people 'collect' their followers.
To follow should intent at least that you know a bit the person's bio.
I have the impression some people just klick 'en masse' and then the mass 'klicks back'.
I don't see the point. Maybe I will post one time about this ... "to follow or not to follow ... that is the question".

Go to Avatar >> Account Settings >> Notifications. There you can control which WA emails you can receive.

For example, I have "New blogs from people you follow" turned off but within Wealthy Affiliate, I always have Top 10 Blogs selected.

That way. I'm not overwhelmed, but I do see the posts that are gathering the most likes and comments.

I'm sorry if I'm rude, but I don't follow people back or follow them in the first place, if they never post something about our business or tips and tricks for social media, for example, but only talk about their personal lives here. Sorry, but I'm here to learn, not to chat about my life!
It saves me lots of time, which doesn't mean that I look down on those people who do that, you know how you are;-) And all the best to them!

Good answer.
Thanks

LOLOL.
Hi Dan, I have this same problem. Here it is Sunday morning in the Eastern part of the US and I just watched "Beer with Kyle" from this past Friday a couple of minutes ago. So what I usually do is let notifications pile up and go through a bunch at a time....but then people respond to my responses and the emails don't stop coming in...lol. I am going to check out the responses you receive to better manage this.
Thanks and Have a Great Day!
-Chuck

I can understand you this is quite overwhelming with tons of emails notifications related to new posts and blogs from our WA community though they might be useful and you can always learn from them. Perhaps using filtering features in your email platform to group them by topic and focusing on certain followers that are pertinent to you and your online business and allocate specific time slot in your day to consult them through quick scanning without reading them in full. I think if you develop the skill of managing emails effectively without sacrificing productivity is key here. I know easier said than done!

Good advice. Thanks
