Hello folks,

I have very much enjoyed myself on this course. I had a few hiccups though. Gravatars stumped me for a few days and I found myself stalling to get back in it but I waited a day and came back to it and it was not as difficult as I had thought. You have to put a different email address to your WA created email. Wasnt sure it worked but then when kyle showed us on his video he didnt have a picture next to his user name as he hadnt got to it yet but I had! Lol my picture was there so that was a good feeling.

I have found just going away and coming back when fresh, in morning say, is a good idea.

Best of luck folks and just keep cracking on.

Dana

Congrats, Dana. I think we all have our hiccups now and then when we're learning this new stuff. I know I did. I've just started level 3 of the certification course. Have had to take some time away from my website due to getting my house ready to sell. Looking forward to getting back to it once I'm moved and settled, though.

Your images are gorgeous. Are you the photographer who took them?

Carol

Hi Carol, the one of my garden with purple flowers I took. I do like photography tho I may have a go putting more of my own on the posts. Cheers good idea. Thanks Dana

Love the pic of the water lilies on your profile, Dana. You have talent as a photographer. I love to take pics, but don't really know what I'm doing. I just point and shoot, and sometimes I get lucky and get a good one. I want to take a photography class at the community college when I get moved and settled.

Well I do think photography is at times just good timing. Some things are so beautiful in nature you do just point and shoot. Because everything changes as each moment goes by. The lighting changes by seconds. I have seen something gone back to get my camera and in that time it had changed. Timing they say is everything. So in your own time do take more photos. BTW I didn't take the lily pic but wish I had lol x

I agree. Had a large elk in the road when I was walking Leia the other night. Went home to get the camera, figuring he would be gone by the time I got back, but there he stood in the neighbor's driveway peacefully chewing his cud! That pic didn't turn out as well as I would have liked because there were a lot of trees in the way, but at least I got one!

Good job. Keep up the good work.

Hello Dana, in my working life one of specialities was problem-solving and one of the techniques used when I was stumped was to get up and walk away from the problem. Go and do whatever other than think of the problem. 99% of the time when I returned I would be looking at the problem from another point of view and usual find a solution. Great technique do not lose it.

Hi, Harvey. Haven't seen you in awhile. I agree with you and Dana. When I find myself getting frustrated and angry with myself, I find that if I do something totally unrelated and come back to it later, things click and I'm not stuck any more!

Hello Carol, I am here, but have not blogged in a while.

I know what you mean. I've so busy getting my house ready to sell and now, packing, that I hadn't done any blogging for awhile either. Several people were interested in seeing my house, so I finally took the time to write the post I'd promised them way back in June!

Good on you for finishing Level 2! I'm somewhere around the half-way mark and hope to be posting a similar blog in the not-too-distant future!
Susan
