Finally Back to the Grind! Rough two weeks.
Okay, so two weeks ago roughly the Hard Drive in my PC crashed.
The drive did not 100% go out and was still semi functional. So with that being said, I spent (wasted) a few days looking into multiple ways to maybe restore the failing drive and fix it. I guess I was just hoping that I was getting a false positive warning message about the drive going out.
After a few day's and finally realizing the drive was actually shot, I ordered a new one and it would take just only a few day's to arrive.
On Friday my new HD finally arrives at my house, being Friday I toss it to the side to spend time with the family and figure I will get to it over the weekend. I spent most of the weekend with my 17 year old son, since my wife and the girls had already made girl plans for both day's it would be a good time to just hang out with my boy.
So me and my son had a full Saturday, went to the Go-Cart track and raced more than just a few times which was nice because the smaller kid's had been with their mom. This is not an opportunity that me and him get very often. After Go-Carts we went and batted some softballs and baseballs at the batting cages, since they already had this on site at the Go-Cart track it was a no brainer. Before going home we stopped at the bowling alley and shot some pool for an hour, like I said busy Saturday. It was nice to just have one of the older Kid's solo and just run like grown ups.
So Sunday me and my son hung out and played some video games and stuff, nothing major just hanging out around the house.
At this point I figured Sunday night would be the time to replace the Hard drive..
Sunday night rolls around and my son goes home to his mother's and my little girl asks me to play catch outside with her. She just started Softball and is very excited to learn, she is 7. So my daughter and I go outside for about an hour and are tossing the softball back and forth, she tosses me a low ball and I bend down to pick it up and WHAM! I cant stand back up!
I had bent over to pick up a softball that weighs just a few ounces and did something to my back and I mean I injured it bad. So I spent Sunday night at the local immediate care center, they take a few x-rays and come back and tell me I have a slipped disk in my back. They give me a couple scripts and send me on my way.
So Sunday night trying to sleep was even harder than normal because of the pain and discomfort, but I did manage to get a few hours of sleep. When I wake up to get the Baby off to school (I know I call her the baby but she's 7, so baby to us because she's our last kid) I cant get dressed or even stand up, I am in horrible pain. So my wife takes off work and off to the ER we go.
While at the ER, the Doctor there tells me there is no way they could see a slipped disk on an xray and the medications that I received would not help much with the problem/pain I had been experiencing. I get two shot's while I am there and wow did it make a difference. I was able to move at least, although not well but when you get to that point just being able to move around was a blessing.
Tuesday night I was finally able to get my HD installed and everything back up and running on my PC. the Pain in my back is still there but feels much better than it had, and for that I am grateful for that ER doctor.
So, after almost two weeks of no updates to my website and only being able to access WA from my phone (which is a pain in the arse) I am finally back.
I put a new post up on my main website today, although it was slow going because I went from daily posts to nothing for two weeks. I hope to get back in my groove and start updating daily again and to start working on my secondary website again since that was about where I left off.
Ready to hit the ground running and glad to be back :)

My grandson is five and I still call him the baby. I also spent 3 hours at the ER last week for Sciatica. MRI to follow up, no slipped disk but cyst at the base of the spine, among other problems.I feel your pain. Welcome back
Oh no, hope it goes better than expected at the very least. Sooo painful.
Yeah my youngest will be in her 30's one day and we will probably still call her the baby even then. Should have just named her "The Baby" lol
Happy to have you back here at wealthy affiliate and I hope all is well with you. Get better soon. Stay blessed ;)
Well, the Doc in the ER said there was no way that other doc could diagnose it being a slipped disk from an X-Ray. Would need an MRI to see something like that. He was prob a quack...
Ouch, it's no fun when that happens! Welcome back, and I hope you can take it easy for a long while and let it heal completely.
Welcome "BACK" (pun intended)~
Don't hit the ground running too hard...you could go MIA again!
Take care.

Good! That was my intention.
Laughter...always the best medicine. ...for everything!
Thanks.

Its great that you are back. Did they find out what went wrong???
Negative! You know I think it was just a real bad pulled muscle. Or maybe that's what I hope it was. Either way it's better now and that makes my face smile :)
