Bad Side of Online Marketing
I haven't written here in a while. It doesn't mean I wasn't working on my site. In fact, I have several projects running, with few being focused on the domestic market as I noticed a substantial increase in traffic from there.
But a few days ago, I run into a bad side of online marketing. I noticed someone stole content from my website, ENTIRE website. At first, I couldn't believe it, and I was actually searching for a difference on his site, trying to make a logical explanation. But, there weren't any.
I decided to take proofs of everything, saved it on my computer and mailed the person saying that the content he has on his website is mine which was published before his and that I request from him to remove it, and if he wouldn't I would be forced to tell Google about it.
The person refused to remove the content and tell me I can file a complaint to Google if I want. Here is the trick: Google only supports each page's complaints individually, and I have over 30 pages. I would need a detailed report of each page sent to Google about it.
So I decided to contact his hosting provider and explain to them my situation. I am currently waiting for there reply to me.
Another option that I am considering is to contact DMCA and pay them to take over. The cost is not cheap ($199 for the service, which is not cheap for my standard), but I think it would be the easiest way to deal with it.
Does anyone have experience with it or tell me what to do, maybe better?

Very sorry to hear this has happened and I am hanging on for any good answers you might receive, Dalibor! I sincerely hope that you can get this resolved, my friend!

I have never had this terrible experience yet, but I have installed a plugin against this kind of hackers, I hope it will be effective if this happens. Unfortunately I think that even this plugin will not save me from everything. There will always be a way for dishonest and lazy people to take the work of others to shine. I hope your problem will be resolved and I wholeheartedly support you.

Oh, gee, not that I know of...but it could be happening without my knowledge. That's very disturbing. I hope you find a way to remedy the situation.
It has happened to me but fortunately the person in question was reasonable and complied with my request to remove the duplicated content.
There are plugins which can stop people right clicking on your webpages to copy and paste them which might prevent it happening again.

Hi. That is awful, please, keep us updated.
I've researched some of the aforementioned a bit, a while back. Plugins seem to be a good idea, however, only keeps someone from copying/pasting. If they want it bad enough, they will type it out by hand. However, the plug-in does make a nice speed bump.
As far as DMCA, my research on them was on a positive note. With a free account, they do provide with "badges" to put on your site to "deter" thieves. They provide the right-click blocker and a couple of website copy scanners, and one free website takedown per year, among a few other things. Go pro, you get even more.
I know you've already looked into all they have to offer, and you do have a well-built website, that I think would be well worth the $199 takedown. I believe they also have a DIY takedown, as well, at a lesser price, however, may would be a lot of work on your part to be worth the $199 for them to handle it. May be worth inquiring about. Then be sure to go pro, if at all possible.
I do hope all works out well for you on this.
