Hi. I want to add a social network auto-poster plugin (looking for free one, atm), but there are several, each with pros and cons. For those who have one, your opinions, please
The comments and the grey box, i've done, I just was hoping to get info more current since much has changed since then. I haven't thought of checking youtube, worth a try.
Thank you both. :)

A lot of the community in the comments section under the Lessons on social plugin use sassy social I hope that helps but I would read there comments as well

Does anyone know if we can we legally link a "song" from youtube on our website?
I am sorry for delayed reply. I was not active here last few days.
You can embed a you tube video on your website. Go to you tube and click share- embed
Copy the code and then go to word press post. then paste the code when you are in text mode
There is no copyright issue when you use a link from youtube. Please understand when a song is on youtube, it is their property. when they are allowing you to share, you are not violating any copyright issue.
YouTube’s Terms of Service specifically on part “General Use of the Service-Permissions and Restrictions”. states that you can embed a video as long as you don’t alter or modify any part of it.
Hello Patty
You can Patty, I often embed YouTube videos. However, when I first read your question, I thought you meant to have music playing in the background. This is something I would not do as we all have different tastes. If I go to a website and there is music playing, more often than not I will go to another website, as the music is not my choice!
Wishing you all the best.
Roy

I could use some help here. I have had my home page static, but I decided I didn't want it to be. When I made it UNstatic, pages that I had "private", NOT published yet, showed
Thanks, everyone. I appreciate y'all trying to help, but none of that worked. Since it wasn't a post I was using atm anyway, I just copied it and saved to my comp and deleted the whole thing out so it wouldn't be a worry. Thank y'all for trying. :)
Hi Patty, when you go on to your webpage go to customize and you will get a bunch of options there. Also on settings-reading you can switch out of having your home page as a static page. You have more options in your menu area also. Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Michael
Hi ... which ever page you want as your home page then choose this page. If you want your blog roll as your home page then choose latest posts. You don't need to change the page to private.
Trust this helps

Don't want my static page static anymore?

you can add custom CSS code in your WordPress dashboard under Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS. and paste .entry-tags { display: none; }
or
.tag-links { display: none; }
or
.entry-meta , .tag-links { display: none; }
One of these should work.
The first two didn't work, however, the last one DID work, getting rid of the tags that were at the bottom of my pages at the comment section.
However, the keywords (under my title on each page) are still there. Now, those, I had under "description" (below the snippet of the preview of what this page might look like in search engine results). I tried NOINDEX & NOFOLLOW, but it was still there. So, I DELETED everything out of the description box (of course, updating). It's still there. It even still shows in the snippet, too.
Well, you got rid of the tags for me, arun, thank you. Now my gears are grinding just on these keywords.
I appreciate your help. :)
May I see your website please to understand what actually is happening? NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW are there just to tell search engines not to index and follow the particular page. That won't serve the purpose. Except for the private privacy page, please do not use NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW
I understand the noindex and nofollow, I was just experimenting to see if it was originating from my homepage. And no worries, my ppp is on. :) And I just mailed you my site.
Actually now tho, I'm getting used to the keywords (breadcrumbs) up there under my title. About wondering if I should go ahead and leave them there.
I'm mainly happy to have all of the tags gone, that you helped me out with, with the code.
Patty,
I knew something and shared. Nothing special.
I could not see any breadcrumbs. You may log out of your website and check your site as a visitor.
Well, it was special to me, because I wasn't able to figure that out on my own. :)
As far as logging out and checking as a visitor, I do that a lot, and that's how I noticed it was up there. It's my site description, how my site shows up in search engines. That much I know. And I like it all well and good for the engines, I just wasn't planning on it being made a part of my title.
But I've decided I can live with it, there is plenty more that I need to work on. And I may eventually learn how that happened and how to combat it. :)
Sorted? Have you accidentally got your tags widget placed in widget ready areas? Have a look under Appearance - Widgets
Already done and was given the same code as one on arun's list.Good idea tho!
I think we've got this now. A friend is helping me out, showing/teaching me some things in the process. Fingers crossed!
Thanks! :)
Someone else had that same problem a couple of days ago. I will see if I can find the post and if they found a solution. Can you tell me which them you are using?
Can I visit your site to see? and I believe that support can help if you run it by them.
sure! Want me to give it to you here? or it's on my profile page.
As far as tech support, they told me to come here. *_*
.entry-meta {
display: none;
}
I got this to work. I will PM You after sending this reply
