Bing Is Pretending To Be Google
It seems that Bing has come up with a sneaky way to "steal" Google's users by pretending to be Google.
To see what I mean, if you view Bing in an incognito window (to make sure you're logged out) and search for "google", you'll get a page that looks almost identical to Google.
Searching for other things in Bing doesn't bring up that layout. It only appears when you search specifically for "google".
What do you think about that?

Since the search "intent" is "google," it's only showing results for Google, which includes Google branding because that's what we are searching for and not pretending to be Google in that sense.
What if the search intent is "bing" or something else? What do we see? Maybe try that out.

John
Dale,
This actually is great! Let Bing “steal” google. That is fine with me after google “stole” away our rankings. Many of my website posts are ranking well on Bing while crickets on Google. Way to go Bing!
Interesting! Inside joke? Bing search programmers were bored and were looking for something fun to do? Who knows?

Actually all you are doing via incognito mode is doing a search on Google so naturally that may come up. For me it just gives me Google search page which is normal just via incognito mode nothing different.
So nothing different to any other search. They are pretending nor have any intent to be like Google who would anyway.
But in reality I don't care really; the more other search engines take away what Google has stolen from content creators and others the better. Google needs to be brought down the sooner the better.
