It would be great if it included information about cross-device tracking which enables tracking to apply to multiple devices at the same time; that way if the consumer clicks your link on their mobile phone then makes the purchase via their laptop, the affiliate still gets credit for the sale.

Amazon doesn't offer cross-device tracking, but most of the major networks like Awin and CJ do offer it. Most in-house programs don't offer it either, as it requires a huge database involving multiple programs which is easy for an affiliate network and basically impossible for anyone else.

I also think it's important to add that as you said, most affiliate programs offer a 30 day cookie, but Amazon's cookie only lasts one-day. That costs affiliates a great deal of commission when promoting Amazon products.
