Where does time go?
I am so frustrated right now, I am trying to spend so much time on WA and building my business but everything else keeps getting in the way!
I have my day job that takes a lot of my time which is ironic as working is stopping me from getting on with securing my future! It is coming up to Xmas and I have to spend time with family and not be working on my website, which is a double edged sword as I want to spend time with family but want to get posting more content and developing my site.
I have my own family that rightly deserve my time and I love spending the time with them but its frustrating at times as I think of something that is a great idea or worthwhile doing and I cant just drop things to do it.
I am studying for a part time Masters Degree which I want to finish, this takes a huge chunk of my time and I don't want to quit it as I have paid money for it and I also want to complete it as it is a worthwhile qualification and relevant to my website.
I have normal things in life that need doing like the car washed, grass needs cutting, shopping etc. these all get in the way and are sapping my time!
On the plus side I have the bit between my teeth and I am still positive and keen to make headway into becoming financially independent. I just need to find a way to have time freed up to do it. Hhhhmmmmmm I feel a training post coming on :-)
Anyway, rant over! I just had to vent and I do feel better and of course tomorrow is another day :-)
Onwards and upwards....

Thats the challenge we all face of balancing our day to day lives and spending the time working on our online business. Listen to your gut and the balance will happen. And remember that family comes first ..always. I have started using notes and audio on my phone to add memos ready for when i have time to work . I find that better than getting ready and sitting down and trying to force content. Enjoy :)
I quite understand how you are feeling! Christmas time seems to sap all ability to do anything. I've hardly been on WA for the past week and it's making me irritable as I don't feel I'm DOING anything. (But then I remind myself, holidays with family are just as important!)

Time management. The Pomodoro Technique works wonders for me! If you're on a Mac, there's a free app!
To be honest time management is not the issue it is the lack of available time. What I do have I use efficiently its a shame there is so little of it :-)
I will look into your techniques though and see if it can help a little.
Oh, I hear you! I often wish there were 29 hours in a day. Sounds like you've got a lot on your shoulders, but I'm confident that you'll figure it all out! :)

First of all your angst is pretty common feeling here in the community. There are some who are in a position to commit more time than others (no day job, empty nesters, a simpler life). But when I look at what you have going (day job with odd hours, college work, small family needs) all I can say is cut yourself some slack. There are no do overs when it comes to enjoying your children as they grow up.
You will hear this sain often here at WA. Success is not a race ... it's a marathon. There's a steep learning curve that you must spend time on ... there are no short cuts. Affiliate Marketing provides a great opportunity to build a nice home business, but it just takes time for your website(s) to gain traction.
So I encourage you to control your angst. It will be better for you health and make the business building journey more enjoyable.
