My Progress - 2 months on
So, I started here in early September, and took off from the starting post like a rocket! Not knowing, or having a real understanding of what my niche was, I took the advice to go with Affiliate Bootcamp. I will say that the training is phenomenal for a newbie like me!
However, I found that as I was writing new blog posts and looking up keywords etc, as the homework required, I realised that I was creating more a lifestyle blog, than a blog about avoiding scams, or finding good online income opportunities. I would say that I was posting 30% about scams etc, and 70% more lifestyle. So, I decided to move across to the certification courses.
The plus side - I discovered my niche! :-D
The down side - I really got a bit discouraged feeling like I had wasted a whole lot of time.
I stopped working on my website and content for about 2 weeks, resulting in reduced...well everything! I felt like I was procrastinating, so picked myself up again and decided to keep on keeping on!
In actual fact, I did not waste time as the bootcamp training is fantastic, and actually doing the two training in tandem is very interesting! Of course, it means it will take me longer to complete one or the other, but I'm okay with that.
So, onward and upward - here we go!
