I have just started to create my first website called "thewealthyaffiliateguide with a view to explaining how to use WA in developing a business either your chosen niche or as

Just because a niche has a lot of competition doesn't mean it isn't worth creating a site about. In fact it means it is a popular subject with plenty of people searching for such sites.

I'm sure that a popular niche such as golf or keeping fit will have a multitude of companies out there looking for people like yourself ready to write articles and reviews on their products.

How about a site literally focusing on "life Over 50". That way you can include both golf and keeping fit on the one site as well as many other subjects.

Anything you heard about this or that niche being "harder" is completely untrue. In my experience, ANY niche can work, and ANY website can make money if you are passionate about writing what you are writing about.

There's no secret niche or "faster" way to make money along a certain path IMO.

The question is, what do you find interesting? If you are interseted in working with men around 50, what do you want to help them with? Finances and retirement? Dating? Leisure like sports or technology?

Maybe even fitness equipment, exercises, or programs. Golf balls, clubs, gloves, carts, etc. Maybe try typing in some either of those ideas & see what keywords come up hot, and find your Niche

Keeping fit and golf are too broad - try narrowing those down to really specific issues. Example "how to improve golf swing for seniors". or "keeping fit between work".

Choosing a niche no idea on what to do?

If I want to use my own word press design for my website can I do this using Rubix?

Yes, you can create your own themes and upload them to your site as long as you're premium (you are).

Hi everyone

I really could do with your help. I have a new website called www.thewealthaffiliateguide.com and my original idea was to promote WA to people looking to get

Leverage your interests to your advantage. Show people how you have been able to pursue your real interests as a result of your work in WA, then show them how to do the same.

Sometimes, picking a topic can be tough if you don't have any expertise or real passions. My advice is to think about what you would enjoy researching and writing about on a daily basis. Need to feel like an "expert" is a hangup that a lot of people get caught on.

You don't have to be an expert now, but you will become one through research!

Hi CSY
I think your best course of action is to work through the training modules if you do, you will build out an Wealthy affiliate site then take what you have learned and build another site on something you are passionate about. you can have more than one site.
The key to this is taking action every day and you will be successful
Best Regards
Simon

Niche selection is really important. You need to choose something that you will feel comfortable writing about regularly 4 to 6 months from now and still sounding 'fresh' - that is why you are advised to choose something that you are passionate about....GOOD LUCK!

Hi Carl,
You should write and blog about those things in life that excite you. Thinks of that first. Bootcamp is good but the 'make money online niche' is very competitive and you have to stand out. Really stand out to make it. I struggled with this too so you're not alone with these feelings.
Compile a list and start drilling it down on what you want to talk about and what your passion and interests are.
Follow the 'Get Started Here' training to the letter and you'll get this
Hope this helps you my friend!

Thanks for the comment Good luck

Hello,

My opinion is that creating a WA promotion site as first site is a good idea. It is handy when you follow Bootcamp (and the other courses) and it is a very good exercise... By the time that the site is really up and running (3 months later ;-) ), by then you probably figured out what you want to do as a niche site...

That's how it went for me anyway...

Grtz,
Bert

Hi Bert.

Thanks for the advice. On setting up a WA promotion site in your view should it be just about WA so for example talk about every aspect of the site and tey can use it? Plus I had an idea for categories on the site Change Your Mind Set, Digital Marketing, Financial Freedom, How to Make Money From The internet, Internet Marketing,Online Business, Social Media and then Training. The idea was to have content based on these and ref back to WA and how by joining WA they could learn how to? and I would and new content every week.

I would also like to feature other affiliate programs that add value to WA as part of the learning process. What do you think?

Carl

Hi Carl,

I think your idea is spot on! Really..
Glad that you will not make another "classic" scam site...
And with what you all have all in your mind already of ideas, I think you actually have your niche site. :-)

I like the ideas of the categories, you have to imagine that you are surfing on the net and you have absolutely no knowledge about any of these topics. But your interested. How cool isn't it that you bump on a site that explains all the different aspects of the concept that you might start with... But I think you have to keep it simple.
We forget often when we create content for the "visitor" that that person has no clue what "a keyword" or "a niche" wants to say.
And I think therefore it is important to keep everything fun and light, like an initiation and not a real training. Otherwise I fear a lot of people will already resign, before they actually started (and gave it a chance.)...

I actually use kind of that approach (only 2 or 3 categories):
My site is http://howsingleadultsbuyahouse.com
And that is "a story" about how difficult it is to buy a house when you are not in a relation (or when you choose to buy a house alone even when you are in a relation). So there is a lot of talking about finances and costs in your personal life. (Today I will add a text concerning budget planning.)
But I also already added an Chat plugin topic (where I am affiliate from) and that can be used on your WP site, you will see the the plugin when you check the site, feel free to test it... :-)

Also I am working on an implementation of a marketing tool that every WA member (or every person that has a website) could use to follow-up the marketing strategy of their site in an easy way (without having 15 different sites and tools), but this will be OK within a week, max 2.

So, yes, I think your idea is good, I recognize a lot of my own concept in it... :-)

Good luck!
And keep me posted, cause I am curious...

Grtz,
Bert

To me it sound that you have very clear ideas, since i am here in WA i definitely did learn one main thing, Action, is the key for success.
just try out all the ideas you have and with time you will see what worked and what not, Plus doing so you will have even more experience informations that you can share and add to yours contents.

personally i think that the making money niche is a very important one so i am building knowledge and confidence so one day, soon enough, i will jump in this adventure like you are doing. I am sure by the time you will be an expert and i will look to your progress for getting ideas,

best of luck

I think this comment was for me? :-)

If so: Thanks for the feedback, I try to look as much as possible to what the people before me have done and what I think is good or very good, I just copy in my own style...
For example: How Kyle and Carson have implemented several different ideas into the WA platform, those guys are the pioneers...

I wish we can say to each other in December 2016 that we all have a successful site and that the future looks bright... ;-)

Best wishes for you too!
