I have just started to create my first website called "thewealthyaffiliateguide with a view to explaining how to use WA in developing a business either your chosen niche or as

Just because a niche has a lot of competition doesn't mean it isn't worth creating a site about. In fact it means it is a popular subject with plenty of people searching for such sites.

I'm sure that a popular niche such as golf or keeping fit will have a multitude of companies out there looking for people like yourself ready to write articles and reviews on their products.

How about a site literally focusing on "life Over 50". That way you can include both golf and keeping fit on the one site as well as many other subjects.

Anything you heard about this or that niche being "harder" is completely untrue. In my experience, ANY niche can work, and ANY website can make money if you are passionate about writing what you are writing about.

There's no secret niche or "faster" way to make money along a certain path IMO.

The question is, what do you find interesting? If you are interseted in working with men around 50, what do you want to help them with? Finances and retirement? Dating? Leisure like sports or technology?

Maybe even fitness equipment, exercises, or programs. Golf balls, clubs, gloves, carts, etc. Maybe try typing in some either of those ideas & see what keywords come up hot, and find your Niche

Keeping fit and golf are too broad - try narrowing those down to really specific issues. Example "how to improve golf swing for seniors". or "keeping fit between work".

Choosing a niche no idea on what to do?
