Hello Craig. It was very nice to chat with you today and I've learnt lots form you. Thank you sharing with me all the great strategies: Find your influencer in your niche first and then try to cater them, engage with them, turn them into your fan eventually and get the ride with their audience. Watch closely to their influencer and do the same. Right? Use buffer or bitly as tool! That's what I've learnt today. Did I miss anything? Great stuff!

It fun being around people who are seriously ready to learn. We both benefit from the experience.

If there is one lesson I learned and want to pass along to you it's this...

"Successful depends on the people you meet. The Friendships you develop."

Stay in touch. Seriously, stay in touch.

Craig, I am so glad I found you! I need your expertise too! Where can I find your guidance/templates for blogging? Your thoughtful quotes, such as the one above, are very thought provoking. I have the persistence to succeed, but the wasted years tell me that I need the key to undo the lock! I "think" you must be the guy! With all best wishes, Chris

What guidance/template for blogging are you talking about?

Ooops! I should have taken better notes! Now I am doubting my own sanity, because I "think" I recall reading that you structured everything you write to a template so that it has order and leaves nothing out!

Craig,

Thank you for your help last evening. I greatly benefited from many various aspects of our discussion. Sometimes I get stuck on the little details to the point of not seeing the big picture. You helped me to see the big picture.

My original question dealt with the tension of how I could could produce content in such a way so as to attract readers to my blog, as opposed to them purchasing directly from Amazon.

The blog I plan to create will focus on safe and affordable ways to prepare parents for their first baby. Your advice was instrumental in prompting me to "find the products in the content, as opposed to finding the content in the product". In other words, I had the cart before the horse. I was planning to create content around specific products instead of finding products suited to my "fan winning" content.

You helped me to see the importance of creating content in order to gain access to "fan groups" first because the products will naturally come by extension. I also learned that I need to know these three things: 1.) What does the reader want to know? 2.) What does the reader need to know? 3.) What the the reader fear? To get to the "heart" of the reader, I need to focus on these things.

I now understand that if I am more intentional about creating a branded value message, then people will become "my" customers as opposed to Amazon's. I need to figure out how to get started on an email list as well! Planning ahead of time will help me to learn how to expand my website so it really is crucial.

Again, much appreciation for your help. This was a bit long!

You said it well. "Intention".

If you want people to be interested in your writing. You have to know what interests them.

It's all about "Intention."

Reader's "Intention", what they want. And why. And your "Intention". What you are give them. And why.

The trick is finding out what they want. Now you know one good way to find that out.

Cool, right?

Niche Research... It's a powerful tool!

It's just a calendar I created on Microsoft Words Document. Nothing fancy.

I have a few different things listed on it. Types of Article, Article Idea, Headline idea, Targeted Keyword. And the Targeted Date for Publication.

The idea is to get myself used to working according to a a Schedule. The goal is to speed up my Writing Process.

Right now I have it set to publish 3 times a week. But there is no way I can publish article that often.

So my goal is to publish 2 Blog Posts and one article each week. Articles are more in-depth, Blog Posts are shorter.

If you want a copy of the Publishing Schedule Calendar pm me your email address.

You'll need Microsoft Words Document. It comes free with most computers, as far as I know.
