Being The Best Blog Writer I Can Be

I am doing this. Not waiting till tomorrow, or the next day. I am starting right now. And I started

It wasn’t a dream of mine. It wasn’t even something I had a wanted to do. There was no desire involved. It’s just something that I decided. And the decision was made. No more questions. No hesitation. Just start.
Yeah, of course in the back of my mind all the arguments started flying back and forth. But I just didn’t listen. “Click”, and turned it off.
The decision was … “I am going to be the best Blog Writer that I can be.”
Just in case you are wondering “Why that?”
Well one day I was having a conversation. With myself. At first in my head. But then it turned verbal. It went something like this.
No, I am not qualified. And No! I don’t have any Writing Skills.
Yeah, I know, this is totally out of my realm. I get that. I am deep over my head.
How long is this going take? I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine.
Ok fine, then how far do you really expect to get?
Beats me. To be honest, I don’t expect much. So probably not all that far.
But I am going to do this. I don’t care what you say. I am!
And that’s how it all began. A decision was made.
Yeah, ok, so, what if people talk about me. Calling me crazy, and stupid. He thinks he can be a Writer!
If I fail I know no one will let me live it down. They won’t forget. And keep reminding me too.
But you know what? Hell with them. If they won’t understand that I am trying to better myself then too bad for them. It’s not my problem. I don’t care if its family or friends. I don’t need them in my life.
Besides, if I make it, they’ll change their tune. And say things like “I always knew he would make it, someday. That boy has always had talent. And smarts.”
Of course neither is true. So again they would have it wrong.
So why should I listen, or care about them, if they don’t want to understand?
Yeah, change is scary. Who want to fall flat on their face in front of everyone? But I’ve adopted this attitude. Be curious. Wonder what’s going to happen. Know that something is going to happen when you change. And look forward to it. Tell yourself you want to see what is going to happen, and be curious about it.
When you change new challenges comes alone. New opportunities are offered to you. Doors, you never seen before, will open. Something will happen. It’s like when the Universe decides you are ready and can handle it, it sends new challenges your way.
Something will happen. I promise you it will.
Thought that was pretty good news? Well, here’s something even better.
When you have choices life becomes a whole lot more fun. Imagine, getting to pick and choose which new adventure to go on next. It’s like being at an Amusement Park, filled Cotton Candy and thrilling rides.
Yeah, change is hard, and scary. But it’s a lot of fun too.
Ok, so now you know a little bit more about me. So here is my own personal Mission Statement.
Blogging is not about blogging. It’s really about being a more capable, a more accomplished, a “New You”.
Robert Kiyosaki said it best. “Expand your means” Which is the perfect complement to finish “Live within your means”.
In other words you can’t spend more than you make, and you have to save for that rainy day because it will come. But at the same time “expand your means”, so you can live the life you want to life.
So go out there, learn to learn fast and well. Live Curious. And look forward to what’s coming next. Because “Life Is Exciting.”
