Finding Inspiration in the Fields - The Thought of a Storytelling website
Hey, I am Lula.
As I woke up to a new day, I felt the excitement of new opportunities brewing inside me. As a rancher, my schedule is packed, especially now that we are entering the spring season. But rather than feeling overwhelmed, I view it as a challenge and an opportunity to make the most of every moment.
"I woke up at 5:00 AM to start my day, as I do every day. I fed the horses and cows, checked on the chickens, and ensured everyone had enough water. It's a lot of work, but I love seeing the animals thrive and knowing I'm taking good care of them."
As I tend to my animals and the land, I think about my plans. I've been considering starting a story-telling website, but I still need to think through all the details. Has anyone around here done this, and what was your success rate? Nonetheless, the idea ignites a spark of creativity within me, and I can't help but feel excited about the possibilities.

The thought of summer brings an even greater sense of anticipation. I look forward to the warmer weather, longer days, and all the fun activities that come with the season. I am determined to make the most of it and cherish every moment.
Last spring, we had a particularly tough season due to a drought. I remember spending long days hauling water for the animals and praying for rain. When it finally came, it was a relief and a reminder of how much we rely on the land and the weather."
As the day winds down, I take time to relax and reflect on everything I've accomplished. It's incredible how much can be achieved in a single day when you put your mind to it.
I usually would feel a sense of satisfaction and contentment as I drift off to sleep, knowing that tomorrow will bring new opportunities and experiences to embrace.

Everyone likes a good story. I think you have a great idea, and should proceed with it. Seems to me that, once people find out what you have, it would attract some good traffic. If you can get some guest blogs from others living a similar lifestyle, I think it would also be a very good thing. Keep us posted on how it turns out, and good luck!

Thanks for sharing like that. I helps me to remember things. I am going through a tough time right now because my siblings want to sell the family homestead. It's almost like loosing a parent again. Your post helped me find a little peace.... don't know exactly why, but it did.

I think your niche can take you far and the opportunities to succeed with a niche are great. Decide what direction you want to go and just write niche posts. Further opportunities for advancement will open up.

It sounds like a great idea to me ! I am not sure how successful it would be because forums tend to have less popularity these days with all those groups on every single topic on Facebook :( . But if you are really keen on your idea , i am sure you will figure something out :)

Here are some thoughts for you to consider for your stories.
* Write down your stories as soon as you can after they come to you.
* The writer's advice says to write for 3 hours every day at the same time. This gets your creative juices flowing and ready to work at that time.
* There are several "Writer's" magazines that you can look into. I like "Writer's Digest".
* Consider what kind of stories you want to write. Adventure, Memoir, Historical Novel, Children's Stories/Picture Book, Then research any that interest you. Another piece of advice that I have read is to "Read What You Want To Write". Consider it research. As an example, some time ago I outlined a series of 6 western books. However, I am not really into westerns but, if and when I get to writing it I will start reading Louis Lamour for research. Besides, it was one of his books, that his son published posthumously, that inspired the stories.
* Just for inspiration you might look into stories such as "Charlottes Web", "Little House on the Prarie", and others like them.
