Hey Guys! Can someone tell me if/when doing keyword research, are negative words Like can't and don't a NO-NO in your titles? and how about swear words? THANKS ALL! Love You Gu

I agree with Dirk (bbqfirepit) here - I think even keywords with swear words can be very competitive. Maybe even more so than "normal" words. It all depends on who is your target audience and how do you want to help them with your posts.

In your example - "why does my mom treat me like an ass" - I imagine this keyword can be very attractive to someone who's really looking for an answer for such a question. If I were such a person, I'd instantly clicked on it without thinking.

Nice, what I've decided among the preceeding comment is that I more then likely won't use certain words for keywords but if it fits into the flow of the article and pertains then one might decide to use certain words of they really speak to the customer!
Thanks tons everyone for the comments!

Hello Dan, not certain about words like can't and don't, but swear words could turn a lot of potential returnees off. My recommendation would be to stay away from them. Do your research however on the contracted words.

ya know words like suck, and lower vulgarity words which i know are searched, but was wondering how google looks at it?

sorry, IE:
Like why do my dreams suck?
why do my dreams piss me off?
why does my mom treat me like an ass?

Negative words like Can't and Don't are okay, but it also depends on how you construct the sentences. I would stay away from swear words though.

Don't think that matters in keyword research. Depends on the type of a crowd you want to attract. The qsr and the other factors are still the same. Pretty sure people search for terms with those words too. Be blessed!
