A Busy, But Satisfying Weekend!
Before I start about my weekend...let me ask a serious question? I see people posting their goals on their profile page as 10,000 a month for happiness, 210,000 a month for ideal living and 20 hours a week to put into it? Seems a tad unrealistic...lol. Ok, sorry rant over.
So for the last week or so we have been blessed with some real nice weather here in NEPA and CNJ. This past week was five 12-14 hour days at my fulltime job (Towing Company Manager)
Saturday I taught an 8 hour Electric Vehicle Operations class for Tow Truck Operators. That went very well and I received very good reviews which made me happy. This is only the 3rd time this program has been presented and it was my 1st time presenting it solo.
Today was gloriously beautiful, but unfortunately I was/am wiped out. These 60-70 hour weeks are starting to take their toll on me. All I accomplished was 3 loads of laundry and installing a 12,000 btu air conditioner in my wife's work space (aka dining room...lol) This unit weighs about 50lbs or so, not too bad. We used to just stick a 2x4 under it to help support it, but had to build an actual frame for it as the 2x4 would of interfered with the new patio.
So that is it...I hope you all had a Great Weekend and Have a Super week ahead.
Thanks and Have a Great Night!
-Chuck

Very unrealistic goals. If you want to make that much money, you are going to have to put in a lot more hours. I hope you're getting a little rest this weekend.

Get some rest chuck. I try to keep my goals realistic, but i guess if you're going to dream, dream big. Lol
Wow, Chuck! A very productive Frisatsu and week, my friend!
Enjoy a Great new week!
Jeff
People have no idea how to answer that question IMHO. If you walked up to someone on the street and asked them how much money they want to make and how many hours they want to work for it? If they read the 4-hour workweek you know what they will answer :-)
And I assure you it took Tim Ferris hundreds of hours of successes, failures, and redos to get to that point.
I set very realistic goals 4 years ago and haven't changed them. I also stated I am willing to work 20 hours a week to start...only because I am working a fulltime offline job. My goal is to do both enough until I can transition from one to the other. I am currently starting a teaching gig that if it pans out will allow me to be home more and offer me more time to work on my on line business.
I know. When I see someone who joined WA followed me and posts "I want to make a million a month and work 5 hours a week", i don't bother following them back because they are setting themselves up for failure.

I guess folks like to dream. We had a great weekend.... 2 1/2 days of boating and swimming with my grandson. Oddly enough, I fixed an air conditioner, also, or at least changed a breaker.
